Anyone else think that certain Necro spells should become affected by Slayer Spellbooks? Namely, Poison Strike, Strangle, and maybe Pain Spike. Currently, there's not much point bringing Spirit Speak past GM, since Necro spells don't scale with Slayer Spellbooks.

Necromancy Slayers

yeah i don't see why not, still probably wouldn't use them and would just cast wither haha. It's actually really weird that you can use a mages spell slayer book for mysticism spells, a necromancy slayer book for mage spells but not necromancy.
Currently, Necromancy and Spellweaving only benefit from SDI but not Slayer Spell-books, Where as Magery & Mysticism benefit from both Slayer Spell-books & SDI.
Yep. Sucks too, because Necromancy is pretty much the only magic skill that can really do direct Poison Damage. The Magery spell "Poison" is more used for it's ability to interrupt healing, than it's actual damage. Only time i see anyone use Poison Strike anymore, is on Travesty, for getting rid of her Mirror Images.
