I think you should be able to eat the recipe scrolls even if you don't have the skill to make it yet. Just MHO.

I think that's a bad idea. I'd hate to eat a scroll on the wrong character.

I've had that happen on chars that arent logged in but once a year lol. Log em out, and then do it again, it seems to help make the system remember their age.
