I have remained impartial and as fair as possible as a moderator throughout this whole thing for the last year, and I will of course continue to be a fair moderator regardless of how you choose to answer my question in this post.

I have noticed that many people have mentioned you owing Nails gold a bunch of times, but I have never actually seen you mention it yourself at all. Just to cut through some of the confusion and make it perfectly clear for everyone in case there was some kind of misunderstanding, this is your chance to clarify anything that might have been misinterpreted.

My Question is:

JDGTR, do you owe @Nails Warstein gold?

If the answer is yes, some additional questions:

1. Do you plan to pay him whatever amount of gold is owed at some point?

2. If you do not plan on paying him whatever gold is owed, why not?


These questions are not meant to accuse or attack you, I seriously just want to know your version of what happened since you have never posted it here before.

This sound like a trial, lol. I submit to the wisdom of The Captain, but no one else.

So bystanders just stfu and don't piss me off I'm serious. Otherwise I jump bail you know? LOL. This is official warning.

1. Do I owe Nails gold - answer is indeed yes. However, it's is extremely difficult to ascertain if the claim amount is entirely fair and accurate.

2. Mitigating factors: my purchases was, imo, in hindsight - overpriced. At [Amount Redacted]. Considering I charged approx [Amount Redacted]. I was indeed a fat client, lil dumb lol but it was fun seeing everyone complain that I bought everything. See, either way, we're still gona have griefers, so who cares. Talk here is free.

3. Subsequent to Nails buying stuff for me, indeed, service level and commitment, he's awesome. Professional, timely, and customer oriented. I too, was a timely paying awesome customer who was valued.

4. But we somehow lost track of the amounts, as I bidded and nails purchased and delivered.

5. Hence now, just between the 3 of us, Captain, Nails and I - although our discussions are for public knowledge but not their comments - we should face a couple of important questions.

A. How do we ascertain the amount of gold?

B. Items were then sold off by nails, and what items, how much was recouped - how to ascertain?

C. Imo, we need to have a fair and proper process to appraise these figures so that both parties are acceptable.

D. With that, we should arrive at settlement.

F. Of which, it will be a goodwill settlement. Otherwise it's bad debt expenses and should be written off.

As a buyer, it is your responsibility to know and track your own purchases. No reasonable man will keep buying and at some point, lost track and decided not to pay due to lack of information. Worst you went missing and left Nails to make the hard decision to sell off everything you purchased.

It sounded to me that you are trying to pull a fast one due to the overpriced gold/ items you paid.

So as a customer, who paid [Amount Redacted] gold, I already ensured good margins for Nails on my [Amount Redacted] in purchases. Which, were paid.

Now, I just want clarity because I remember I was given about a 3B thereabouts credit line, before I needed to settle invoices. This was understanding between us. So let's double this figure in case my memory is fuzzy. Let's call it 6B.

Then, Nails sold off my credit line items, which say got back 50% value at least, even if I overpaid.

So that should net a figure of 3B thereabouts. That's my internal calculations.

Hence, being asked to pay [Amount Redacted] now by Nails, I hope I can be presented the fair and accurate math to convince me.

To whom all it may concern,

I made an agreement with @JDGTR three times now. Once in January, again in September, and just this past November 16th. Each time he insisted he would honor these agreements, but so far he has not. He is currently not communicating with me over ICQ to resolve this matter. I feel I have been more than patient and understanding, willing to work with him for the past 11 months during extraordinary personal circumstances.

From October 2014 - January 2015, I provided superior professional brokering service to @JDGTR. I gave him VIP treatment. I brokered 50+ deals for him at all hours of the day and night even while in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital with my Mother who sadly passed away January 30th. I took account of all his purchases, I offered free transfers for all the items he bought on Chesapeake, Europa, Great Lakes, Lake Superior, Pacific, and Sonoma shards, bringing these items together on Atlantic, and then transferring them to Formosa. I never denied his requests for fear he would lose out on a deal, or a player would sell the item he desired to someone else. I also updated him on new opportunities before they were posted on Stratics, giving him first chose at many elite items.

I am not a collections agency. I am just a player who provided safe trading in game for players like @JDGTR before the current expansion. I am not asking for more than what he owes me. I am even willing to give him items he did not pay for in order to settle this matter amicably. I will accommodate any request that will help him resolve this in a timely manner. There is no downside to honoring and paying off his debt to me. I will sing his high praises if only he would do the right thing.

This year has been very difficult, losing my Mother, my home, getting married, and currently I am awaiting the birth of my first child due this Saturday, but he could come early. I will greatly appreciate and be thankful to put this ordeal behind me. I am grateful for all the support the Ultima Online Community has shown me over the years. I cannot express the many emotions of gratitude and frustration this particular complication has put me through. In the end this is just a game, and my life could be a lot worse. I am still hopeful @JDGTR will overcome whatever is holding him back from paying me, and I believe he can rebound from this with all our help if he can just do what is necessary.
