I believe the limit was lifted and you can be co-owned to as many as you want now.

You can be co-owned to an unlimited number of houses, but as an owner u can add 10 co-owners max

Yes, your character can own a house and be co-owned to other homes.

You realise that co-owned relates to accounts now? eg if account A owns a house and co-owns one character from account B to it, then all characters on account B are now classed as co-owners, though only the one targeted is listed on the sign?

Yes and I have 13 active at present... so that is >10.
