Sorry about the not being able to read it thing, It's most likely happening because an Editor hasn't approved the Article yet, It should be fixed as soon as an Editor logs in.

The way the article system works from a staff perspective is someone writes an article and presses "submit", Then the actual article goes to an Editor for approval, while the thread the article automatically creates is sent to a moderator for approval. If a moderator approves the thread before an Editor approves the article, the link dead-ends like it is now since only an Editor can currently view the page the link goes to.
