Focus attack will be quiet handy, dont matter what the weapon is, will raise ur splintering to 50% and 100% fireball. You could also double strike when target is disarmed, and get a guarantied 25% on each hit.

Splint pickaxes sell because they can disarm and with this new disarm mastery it's not worth as much since loads of people don't even run a melee skill anymore.
