Just ordered a 6th month game time code on Origin.

In the past its confirmed my order and given me the code straight away on the site.

Today I get:

Your Order Is Being Processed
Your order is currently pending. Most orders are processed within 24 hours of being placed, though in some cases they can take up to 72 hours to complete. Once it's all set, we'll send you an email to let you know!

And no code on the page :(

That is something I've also noticed... and seems to be a growing thing with any purchase of UO items from the Origin store.

Expect delivery within 3 days. If they don't deliver, send email to @Mesanna

Don't push your deadlines - just a small warning.

Yeh it took a few days .. prefer the old system where I got code straight away :(

Got the Order Pending email on 24/10/15 at 08:11.
Got the Order Confirmation email on 26/10/15 at 14:09 - with the code, finally!

Been like this for quite a while now.
All codes are instant apart from the gametime ones that have to be generated, confirmed and then sent in an e-mail. (anti hack, code generator measures)

Anti hack? Where did you get that information?
And why aren't they capable of doing it a better way?
It feels insanely tedious to me, waiting for a digital code!
They could as well send the code via snail mail. Hand written and signed by Mesanna.

UO is Broadsword, Origin is EA.
Now although EA is still the publisher of UO, that's about as much as they talk to each other.
So when you buy a code from EA it then requests the code from Broadsword, thus the delay.

EA take our money but ZERO goes towards UO.

I'm not quite sure about the big picture you're drawing. Anyway, most if not all other codes come instantly, so it doesn't make sense the 6 months game code takes longer, your explanation doesn't fit with other codes coming instantly.
Even if you're right... if EA writes a hand-written note to Mesanna "Please give me a 6 months game time code" to which she responds after about 1-3 days... it doesn't make much sense to me. Bureaucracy at its best? Broadsword should just give them a million codes from which EA can draw instantly after an order has been placed. The current procedure is very annoying and the opposite of customer friendliness. It is inacceptible imho.

I normally got a code on the site straight away, but that didn't happen this time .. I checked.
