I don't think gold is adding up to my deposit

3 times this afternoon I put 10K into the bank and saw the message that my deposit was received. I would note the current amount listed as funds, close out the bank box and open it again only to find the same amount shown.
Am I not doing this right or is the deposit system totally wonky?

Working here. Just dropped 10k gold coins into my bank and it added it fine.

I had made 8 deposits of 8 checks and one of them did not register. I am 100 percent on this.

I did get a 'you have deposited..' message.
It's possible the check could have been duped (I'd had it a while, not sure where it came from). Do you know if the banker would still give that message if it had been duped?

There must have been a delay in the system this afternoon when I checked my balance. Now a different amount shows and it is the correct one.

It was posted and mentioned several times. Just because you don't keep up with it doesn't mean we have to go back through notes to find it. Even had EMs on Atlantic talking about it a few times in chat.

Because em's are devs. Show me where a developer actually stated that this was targetting checks that were labeled duped.Consdiering items can be labeled "Duped" simply from transferring from one server to another, chances are the only people who would actually be hurt by this would be innocent bystanders.

Chances are she was probably referring to whether or not Lord Duane was asking about Duped Checks or Piles. The answer being he was more concerned about duped checks than piles. "Checks most likely"

I've said it before, i'll say it again. The only people who would be hurt by them deleting ALL checks labeled "Duped" would be your average players.

Transcripts always have the problem ot the timing gaps between questions and responses, so are never totally clear, but it implies to me that the intention is the system deleted the duped cheques - of course, a specific comment from a Dev that this is, or is not, the case would help

Honestly... if people have duped checks and were to stupid to just put them in your bank and onto a vendor months ago, years ago, whenever the time may be that they obtained a duped check, then honestly they all should be deleted.... because they were just to stupid.

The majority of this games gold has been pushed into the vendors and spit back out into checks 100x over. If they were any existing checks left and they get deleted well I guess your **** out of luck, stop duping checks!

Like you said, timing of the transcripts. Just as likely that this was the actual conversation.

You would think the developers would give a more definitive answer than "Yep, Yes sir" to something like deleting all of an item "labeled" duped, especially with a system that doesn't work 100% of the time. And I love her last quote, pretty much sums up my whole opinion of this hysteria. There was a wide spread panic about gold being deleted, which all a player had to do was put the gold on a vendor if they thought it might be duped.

Yeah, i must of looked like an idiot when I safely deposited billions worth of checks into the new system without losing any of them. Checks from random players, checks from gold that was transferred multiple times from server to server. Don't take my word for it though. By all means take a yep and a yes sir right after the lead developer completely dodged the question when a different player asked it.
