When I made that character King Blackthorn specifically for the event, I never expected they'd be so popular .

id hold onto that character, your right, theres a few but not a ton out there. it was shortly after the first bones year that they dis-allowed the blackthorn name to be created, and mesanna names have all been turned this year to "bob". hopefully ill be able to keep this character name, but also kept items created with it rather low.

The name "blackthorn" was actually added to the name filter before the Halloween event so players were unable to make that name for bones.

I tested several names & found that while they had blocked "Blackthorn", they had not blocked "BIackthorn" spelled with a capitol "I" and the texts used for the bones looked identical .

Shortly after the event I found that both variations had been blocked.
I assume because of the bones I had made.
I had already deleted the character to make room for more names .
