Is it possible to get a drop off of the Doom bosses?
For clarity, I am referring to getting a turn in drop not a normal artifact off the bosses. No, I don't think it is right now, It has been turned off for Halloween content.
Thank you kindly!Yes got 4 doom marked items doing 3 rounds of the gauntlet and no one in the group got any of the original doom artifacts.

Dark father = never ending things to kill. You can kill a vampire bat in doom and have a chance at a treasure of doom drop but if you wish to run the doom gauntlet, then sure...but why!
This, as long as there a few people in the room I have been getting one to two drops every few mins.Dark guardian room for the win...
That's not quite accurate. Using a whirlwind weapon that is straight imbued (reforged for 100% poison, hit fireball, hit fire area, ssi and hit mana) can take down a 8-10 guardians in two swings. DCI and even resists (with exception of poison and if your in vamp form it doesn't matter either) don't matter when building a suit to farm the room because you are killing them so fast that they don't often get a chance to smack you.Ahh, so this event ain't for everyone. Only those with uber expensive suits to withstand a room full of Dark Guardians without eating dirt.
This is the first time I've used Dark Guardians. Last year I got 70+ items from just running around killing stuff. I used different characters including mystic bard, archer, thrower, and tamer. I'm happy to have Doom all to myself, so if you want to talk yourself out of participating, go ahead. But the event can be handled by just about any toon. The key for me last year was to be aware of where others were in doom in case I needed a rez, and to always help those who needed it in a reciprocal manner.Ahh, so this event ain't for everyone. And I bet the suit had just basic resists, LRC and LMC, hardly expensiveI did the Guardian Room pretty much exclusively all the time last year on a Sampire doing WW with EoO and had no problem with even as many as 12 Dark Guardians spawning.
Same, but I was on a mystic. I got 1-2 drops (usually one) every time they spawned, with a bunch of people in the room. Haven't done it this year.I did the Guardian Room pretty much exclusively all the time last year on a Sampire doing WW with EoO and had no problem with even as many as 12 Dark Guardians spawning.
Correct since my Sampire is a tertiary character pretty much I don't really use her much. And she didn't have an uber weapon either.... she's a macer so I made her a 100% fire black staff I think... and Guardians are undead so wore the Undead Tally... no LRC at all I carry regs. And I bet the suit had just basic resists, LRC and LMC, hardly expensive
Right, sorry, forgot for a minute a sampire only needs 3 regs, and that's only when she diesCorrect since my Sampire is a tertiary character pretty much I don't really use her much. http://uo.com/2014/10/10/publish-87-tc/I have no idea what a treasure of doom is or what they're good for, and I wonder how many other people in UO don't either.
This is how I do it. I use Spellweaving and summon 5 pixies to get more guardians and can kill them all in two cyclone or hailstorm.A mystic with 120 focus, some SDI and an undead slayer book can wreak major havoc among them with Nether Cyclone as well.
