Will town banners shard transfer?

Doing my first shard transfer, clearing out a house in the process.
Will town banners make the transfer Like the town of Vesper or Minoc banners you buy?
If I pack up a bonded beetle will the items in the beetle transfer as well?
A bit nervous about doing this I hope they have the shard transfers working again.

The beetle and all it's items will transfer only if you are using a Full Transfer Token and not a Shard Shield Transfer Token. There have been times in the past when players have had packies and beetles not transfer using full transfer tokens. It's best to have a trusted friend or player friended to your animal so they can access it IF something goes wrong with transfer. Or transfer from a private home in fel so the animal can be killed to retrieve your items if something goes wrong.

I was planning on buying a character transfer token from the UO store for the move.
I can have a character on a 2nd account be friended to the beetle just in case. I would never have thought of doing that. Thank You!
One thing I just ran into is how do I now transfer gold to a character on a 2nd acct? I put in a wall safe tonight so both accts can access it. But I am not sure how to get the money there for them to access and bring with them. Also I have some checks in a box at the house can I just give those to the transfer character?
Sorry for so many dumb questions I just want to make sure I do this right.

I can't answer the new banking system and transfer of gold, I haven't been able to log in long enough to figure it out yet. As for the checks in a box, as far as I know they can be transfered just fine.

checks are shard bound now. meaning if you want to take the gold with you you'll need to put them in the bank / transfer account and they will no longer be in check form.

If I want to transfer gold to a 2nd acct all I have to do is meet up with that character and trade the gold off to them. They will then be able to take it with them.

The new patch that gave us the expansion also made it so checks can no longer be shard transferred in check form. It will probably not let you transfer with checks in your backpack. You would have to put them in the bank of the character you want to transfer, which will automatically convert them into the new currency system. Then you would transfer the gold amount from your normal bank into the "transfer bank". Only gold in the "transfer bank" will be transferred with you.

Putting checks in the bank will permanently destroy them since checks can no longer be created.

Steps to transfer gold:

1. Go to the bank on the character that is transferring
2. Click on the Banker and select "Open my bank box"
3. A window appears (along with your bank box).
4. Click on Deposit Gold into Transfer Character Account (or Transfer Platinum if you are transferring more than 1 Billion Gold)
5. Enter the Amount of gold you plan on transferring and click on OK
6. You should then see a message "Transaction Successful"
7. Say Balance and you should see a message about your balance and your transfer balance.

After you transfer, you go to the bank and do steps 1-3, in Step 4 you select Withdrawal Gold from Transfer Account.

Note: This was never tested by players since we couldn't transfer from the test shard so good luck

Also, you can't be mounted while doing the transfer, so make sure you tell your bug/packies to follow you before you start the transfer process.

I think I made a really bad mistake this morning. It sickens me if I did. I got the 2 characters together in the East Brit Bank and did a trade of the gold I wanted the transfer character to have. I saw the message that the gold was placed into his account. After reading Zeke's post I went back in to check it again. This time the transfer character had a zero balance and the character that traded him the gold had an amount that was less than he had before the trade. Essentially I lost everything I had on Cats this morning.
I don't know if the server had gone down before the trade or not it was about 6:40 am that I did all this. So now I am penniless because of this trade. I don't feel like playing the rest of the day.
