and those tokens will be 30mil soon. give it a week or so. im not a dev so not to say where they came from, but anytime someone is selling that many and price goes down by that high a percentage you can bet something is up. this is not a random player buying a couple off origin store because there was a sale to sell for gold. this is mass amounts sold at prices to clear them out.

Ah UO, the land of dopplegangers. Anyone who believes anything a random same named person is saying in gen chat ... well.. lets just say they are doing it wrong lol. Verifying identity outside of a game where there can be 30 people with the same name, well its just the smart thing to do.

You know I've always thought about this one and one thing I can say is I rather prefer it. You know in the real world there are thousands of Johns, Cathy's, Steves and what have you.... no one has much of a unique name... so why should this be limited in the game. Some games even offer last names now to keep names different and unique.

Everyone has a unique ID though... just like your Social Security #.... When you talk in chat it's always the same ID#... Honestly I think there ought to be a way to "see" that or to get that #... Name changing will NOT change that number either. Not sure about transferring but I do know that it doesn't change if you change your name.

You watch anyone talk in Chat and you'll see their #. Write down the number of this phony and keep it handy as this will probably come up again impersonating someone else.

But if they made Unique names like that then you couldn't have your character on every shard. You wouldn't be able to create 2 identical characters (something many folk do)... etc... My own character exists on every shard.

Contacting folk via ICQ or whatever outside of game is always the best way to be sure you are talking to the right person.

I'm pretty sure, there is no answer, as most probably noone was asking that question 18 years ago. At least that's what I would assume.

It would appear that these are not recent duped/bugged/replicated items. These tokens were ones that were created via a bug sometime ago (and stashed) but since the recent publishes have now allowed them to be vendored again. Yes cheap tokens will soon flood the markets. This is just hear say... so take it for what it is worth.

Sorta odd thing. I had some shard transfer tokens from IDOCs, that I kept for (hoarder)??? lol Just used them for deco in my treasure room. Anyway I was doing a transfer and had room left so I brought them along. They disappeared This was a couple days ago.
