UNLEASHED
This is not the last patch bug....I think you adjusted it a LITTLE too much

This is the loot off of a Dragon and an Ogre Lord inside Medusa's Lair.
None of it has anything on it, just basic NPC bought armor type stuff...
Weird yes?
It has seemed to me that all of the things I used to do to get stuff to unravel to build up a supply of relic fragments (e.g., hunting monsters for loot, fishing up sunken chests, treasure hunting) became a lot more tedious and time-consuming earlier this year, maybe around March-May (??). Granted, my characters that I use aren't running around in mega-luck armor. However, compared to what I previously was gathering from the same locations doing the same things with the same characters, there just seemed to be a real drop-off in quality around that time. I believe Kyronix has said nothing has changed with the loot tables; however, I don't believe he's specifically addressed whether or not the dev team has made adjustments to our characters' chances of getting the best-quality (or at least "better-quality") loot from normal, everyday activities in UO.Some modification has occured, I went to covetous level 3 yesterday to 'farm' some relic frag items. Boy was that a waste of time. I used to spend an hour or so there and get stuff to unravel for at least 20 relic frags if not more. Yesterday after an hour I had zip, zilch, zero item that would unravel to a frag. What the hell happened ??? When was it changed and why? I heard that shame and wrong are also bad now.
There is a flaw in your theory... if you go to trader's hall and look at the high end gear being sold it is ridiculously lower priced. Stuff that used to sell easily for 50-100 mil now is sold for 5 -10 mil (this includes eater armor etc)My theory is that the big sellers of high-end looted jewelry/armor/weapons complained about there being a glut of such items and they weren't selling as much of it as they used to on their vendors or via their auctions. So, maybe to appease them, the dev team adjusted some things around RNG so they could honestly be able to say they haven't tweaked loot tables and make us think we're all imagining that things have actually changed.
"invincible"?! You clearly don't PvM playing a Mage.I think all in all as our gear has progressed and we become "invincible" they have lowered the loot rules for lower level mobs....
Mystic PvM = easy mode (for many mobs). But then again I take the char best fitting the encounter not one shoe for every occasion...."invincible"?! You clearly don't PvM playing a Mage.
Well, whatever they actually did, we seem to have once again gone through a "bait and switch" cycle where something new was introduced to the game (i.e., universal roll-out of "Shame-style loot" and tweaking of treasure chest loot) and a few months later everything new that was put in is scaled back in quantity and/or quality. There is a flaw in your theory... if you go to trader's hall and look at the high end gear being sold it is ridiculously lower priced. Now granted there is that "godly" piece that is found which truly is godly.... yeah those are priced outrageous.
I think all in all as our gear has progressed and we become "invincible" they have lowered the loot rules for lower level mobs.... that is my theory. But higher level ones are yielding the "good" loot still.
