How/when did this bug appear? I am stuck inside a dungeon waiting to be able to log out. I can not loot mobs nor leave. Are we having fun yet?

You can not teleport while dragging an object

That happens sometimes when you are moving something to your backpack and lag (or the Gods on High) does not keep up with your movements. The item you are dragging does not go in your backpack but is suspended somewhere in between. Carefully retrace your track from what you picked up to your backpack. This will sometimes bring what you are moving back to visible. Then you can place in backpack and the problem is solved. This has happened numerous times to me with my fast new computer. It may take several movements for you to find what you are moving but it fixes the problem.
The problem is if you are fighting something(which I was) and have to wait out the timer. Now this morning this problem has happened 3X. What I accidently did the last time and it seems to work in EC Pincos is hit the button that transfers everything in the mobs pack into yours. That seems to break the unable to loot problem.
You don't actually have to log out as in your char leave the world. Just run to a corner. Hit logout. Type password, select shard, select char. Problem solved.
EC with Pinco's also has an action that I keep on a hotbar just for this problem to "Drop what I'm currently holding" and it will put whatever stuck item that is into your backpack.
I will be sure to put this on my hotbar tonight then. Thanks

It's still a bug... even if there is a workaround. New players or non-stratics users aren't going to know how to fix it and won't think to log out mid fights.
