From all of us here at Broadsword we want to thank everyone for 18 wonderful years of dedication to the game that has become such a huge part of all of our lives! The team is busy putting the finishing touches on the Time of Legends and we are pleased to announce that the next release on TC1 will be tomorrow, September 25, 2015. We are planning for an Origin/Izumo release on September 29, 2015 and if all goes well a world wide release on October 8, 2015. Yes, it's a wonderfull thing to see Ultima Online celebrating its 18th Birthday !

Please, remember of the Veterans who made that possible by maintaining their accounts as active month after month, year after year, for 18 straight years.......

This Year, please, the Veteran Rewards do NOT stop them for accounts of "15 years of active age and older" but, actually, award at least 1 Veteran Reward for Accounts which actually were kept as active for 18, long, continuous Years. Maintaining an account as active for 18 Years, is NOT the same as doing it for 15 Years. Stopping Rewards accounts active age at 15 Years is, as I see it, very unfair to those Veterans who were most loyal to the game for not just 15 years, but for 16 or for 17 or for a whopping continuous 18 Years !!

Oldest account I have left but I was there 18 years ago with my cruddy computer, AOL (I remember running a hack to keep me logged into AOL longer than 5 mins Grrrrr). UO continues to be the most fleshed out, well thought out game on the market. Thousands of games have been put into production in the last 18 years. Of those, not one has encompassed the whole of UO: Community, working for a goal, home ownership, property, events, mounts, magic, taming, dungeons, pack animals, shard transfers, gardening, making booze, boats, fishing, deco, rares, etc etc etc.....

So Cheers to UO, its staff and the community that make this game great and keep all of us addicts satisfied.

216 month, is my oldest account, my son's friend started it for him, on his dads credit card. He came home with it and made me play to get access to my computer and the internet. UO was the reason I got my Visa cart, as my Danish creditcart did not work for the game. He moved on to other games, I stayed all this years.

Thank you Broadsword for keeping us all together through thick and thin.
And I especially want to thank you for saving me at the lowest point of my life. Ayuh, without my sister convincing me that a PeeCee is not just for accounting (in 1997 I was a serious Mac-geek) I have no idea where my world would be today.

And its not just about the "game" - UO has become the place to escape, vent, fantasize and live in a cerebral sense. If not for UO - and the people I've met in these 18 years - there is no way of knowing what the player behind this persona would be.
