With the new expansion just around the corner, and 2 new pets announced, we also seem to be getting more stable slots... 2...more stable slots.
Thus I must make a post, to go along with the other 10 or so I have made over the years asking the question...Why???
Why only 2 extra? That won't even put us at 20 max! When you look at all the different colors of pets, all the different vanity/special occasion pets, all the different tamables in general both utilitarian (Dragons and the like) and and more RP-centric (Bears, Wolves, Birds, etc) and the number of tamables that have pack instinct... a stable with even 100 slots is perfectly justifiable. Those colored holiday horses were a PERFECT example. If you collected all the colors, you couldn't even stable them all! Chances are if you are a tamer you didn't have room for 1, let alone 20.
Why limit people who like to tame to such an absurdly low number? Why never boost more than 2 slots every 5+ freaking years?
Is there a technical explanation? If there isn't... then up the stable slots by a LOT. It can ONLY make the game more fun. That's the ONLY possible outcome. There are no negatives I can imagine. It seems like a no-brainer.
If there IS a technical reason could we know that so we don't wonder why we have this idiotically severe limitation?
So ends my yearly plea to look at giving us more stable slots.
