Need Help With Chat Colors

Isn't there a help forum somewhere on here? Anyway I want to make my chat color red so I can easily read it in my journal. Some reason it WON'T change. It shows changed in the area where you change it but nothing happens. Is there some way to hack the cfg file or something? I might be doing something wrong but I can't figure it out.

Are you sure your on the right tab?
I did it just the other day, was changing it in the wrong tab in CC.
It's not in the 'chat' tab, its actually in the 'Display' tab then scroll down abit to speech colour.

Do you use UOAssist I think it has some sort of override in there that makes all text the same. It's been many, many years since I did anything in the CC but I think I recall something like that.

I would imagine those settings under Chat are for the original chat system UO had. They were never removed apparently.
