Well actually building it is completely amazing! But I'll double their offer if you refuse to do it in the futureThanks. It's not my house, but I built it for them. (They picked the colors )

About a week, aye. Here's the Chessie mountain house - I've had to edit together a bunch of screencaptures to get it all in. Unfortunately, I can't find any screengrabs of the right house (the one that went missing here), but you can sort of see where the carpet still is floating (on the top right) where that house should be.Wow..awesome work Brian! It is very...colorful lol but wow...that must have taken some time! Very well done
Wrong.
This house never went idoc. I spent over an hour with a GM who confirmed that the house was not IDOC, and who also could not figure out how or why it did drop.
Bunch of questions here and brainstorming as to why this might happen. First was the account the house was on active or inactive when it fell? That's the first big question.
Second, did you have a house placed on Seige? Did you place a house on TC at all? Are you in Beta for the new expansion and placed a house?
No idea; I asked the same question of the GM, as the email also had specifically referred only to the one house. The other puzzling factor, if this was some deliberate action to remove the house... why leave the other two?
The reason I doubt it was someone deleting it is it's in one of the Malas hidden locations, so there aren't exactly a lot of neighbors to complain about any lag. Usually you'd have to step in the house to load most of that stuff anyway. If it was malicious or with purpose then they would have deleted all 3, not just 1.My guess is someone paged about the lag the building caused being made of pretty much lockdowns and such and a stupid GM deleted it.
I would have agreed, were it not for that email on Tuesday citing a complaint ticket (which I didn't file) and ordering me to make changes to that house:The reason I doubt it was someone deleting it is it's in one of the Malas hidden locations, so there aren't exactly a lot of neighbors to complain about any lag. I should also note, as it's not clear from the radar in my house screenshot above... 6 houses fit in there. I owned all 6. There was no open space for any further placements. We are contacting you regarding an issue with your house placementl, Ticket#: 8977612.
We received an appeal in regards to items blocking house placement at location 2295 1490 in Malas. The house belongs to your account and has multiple items going beyong foundation and are also build toward the mountain behind the building.
We ask you to please remove all items within 7 days going beyond your foundation and items on the mountain attached to your house. If the items are not removed, we will delete them once the given time period is over.
Once you have done so, please submit an in-game appeal to notify as of such.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation with this matter.
Most likely the case is that someone came by saw you have a ton of rubble which as you know is good not only for points but sells really good... paged a GM got your house ordered to be destroyed.... then went back the very next day paged again told the GM it's been a long time they have waited..... and the GM dropped your house for them... they looted it dry.... end of story. I heard of crap like that happening.... They quite possibly paid the GM or have a friend who is a GM who did what they wanted because they wanted your stuff. Any excuse they can to exploit the system.I would have agreed, were it not for that email on Tuesday citing a complaint ticket (which I didn't file) and ordering me to make changes to that house:

When it comes to GM's doing stuff they have all the back up and proof they need. IT's all right there. I'm sure if they are looking into it they will find it.Wait a minute...that is a pretty Bold statement!!! I hope you have some proof and send it to Mesanna.
No. No it's not. Trust me on this. (Tounge in cheek symbol noted )(yes it is like losing a loved one! )
Interesting thread. So far I've learned you can pay a GM to drop a house for I assume a tidy profit, if UO sends you an email saying fix your house in a week or it's gone they really do it, and losing a UO house and contents has the same impact on one as I felt watching my wife die. Very interesting. All righty!Wait a minute...that is a pretty Bold statement!!! I hope you have some proof and send it to Mesanna.
I believe he said day later house goneOkay this is getting a little confusing. Lets see if I got this.
1. Person gets email saying to fix your house in a week or it will be deleted.
2. Week later it's deleted.
What am I missing here?

Okay. Fair enough. TY for the explanation. I see the problem now, you got hosed big time.1. Tuesday, 2:30 pm
2. Wednesday, midnight, house is gone.
1 day and 10 hours, not 7 days.
Also, pray explain to me, or even the GM who met with me, what this actually means?
" remove all items within 7 days going beyond your foundation and items on the mountain attached to your house"
If I follow, it demands that I remove any items:
1) Locked down outside of my plot (aka, foundation): Easy enough, since we can't actually lock anything down outside of a plot, this applies to zero items.
2) Locked down on the mountain behind my house. Also easy, as we can't place items on mountains, nor (again) can we lock anything down outside of a plot, so this too applies to zero items.
So, best as I can follow, I was asked to remove zero items. The English here is so tortured, however, that noone in any position of responsibility so far seems able to actually explain it.
Probably should have mentioned all that in your original post. Seems like pertinent information. Also is that a direct copy/paste from the email? There are 2 glaring typos in it and it's worded rather strangely. I would suspect a phishing attempt if so. I sure hope you didn't give your account info to anyone pretending to be from EA/Broadsword.I would have agreed, were it not for that email on Tuesday citing a complaint ticket (which I didn't file) and ordering me to make changes to that house:

However you'd like to rationalize the comparison. There were three sentences... which one please so I can rebuttal correctly?
When you build something, you put yourself into it. It is very much like anything you would make. Image rebuilding a car from the frame up and then it getting stolen and crashed and you have to start over. It is a great loss. Just because you play the game differently, don't be hatin' on the way others may perceive the world.
At the time of my original post, I did not have that information. I don't check email daily, and didn't see it until around the time I was speaking with the GM. (I was actually in the middle of posting it here when he showed up, so I held off on posting it here.)Probably should have mentioned all that in your original post.

Merlin, you appear to keep missing where I state that, not only did the house not go though an IDOC period, but that:
A GM HAS ALREADY CONFIRMED THAT THE HOUSE DID NOT FALL DUE TO DECAY.
Now, back off.
Not to derail this, but why do you have 23 accounts? At the time of my original post, I did not have that information. I don't check email daily, and didn't see it until around the time I was speaking with the GM. (I was actually in the middle of posting it here when he showed up, so I held off on posting it here.)
Yes, that is an official email from Broadsword, as sent, without any changes by me. I didn't give account info to anyone; the email itself was confirmed official by the GM in game.
Oh the tide is turning with this threadEasy dude...your house got deleted because you created a design that people complained about. So the Gm sends you an email...someone complains again, the GM checks...that account is inactive and no attempt has been made to remove the items so he drops the house. You know what they wanted...you can say all you want that you dont understand because of poorly worded language, but anyone reading knows what they wanted.
On top of this now you admit this has happened in the past? Obviously you arent getting it! If you want to create designs that people are gonna complain about ( as is their right)... then Merlin is right...also you played the "juggle the accounts game" and dropped the ball!
Suck it up buttercup and go fix the rest of your housing issues that are in anyway similar to these issues. You are angry cause you are at least partially to blame for this. But only you can resolve it all the way.
After a while people lose sympathy as the truth comes out and get tired of people whining about entitlement,....It is a game!Oh the tide is turning with this thread
It's not quite that simple, as far as a disagreement, since it must be filtered through a gm who ultimately agreed or tells the other person to go pound sand. It's amazing how you guys manage to rationalize that anyone with multiple active accounts is "stealing money from EA". Apparently we have several people who would be perfectly OK having their houses deleted if someone disagrees with the decor or placement, and who feel that it's perfectly ok for their own house to disappear without a trace, and without warning.
I haven't twisted anything and have no agenda since there is nothing to gain by calling you out.I'm not feeding you anything, other than feeding the troll. I've stated the facts. You've continued to try to twist those facts to fit your agenda. GMs do not have the right to delete houses, especially to suit player whims.
I wish this thread would get locked. I can't see the sense in attacking a dedicated player who is playing by the allowed guidelines/rules, regardless of how any of us may feel about those rules.
Hang in there, Brian. I truly hope the issue will soon be resolved.
You know that's not what I'm addressing. The issue was resolved.....the houses have been removed!

I believe they are allowed to remove specific items, if a rule is broken, once clear warning has been given and sufficient time has elapsed. To remove a plot, I am told they need Mesanna's permission first.GMs absolutely have the right to delete houses after a written warning.
