Harrower, Friday 08-07-15

I would like to announce that we will be summoning a harrower on the Catskills shard this Friday night around 8pm est.

We welcome anyone to come and participate in any capacity that they wish. This includes coming to try and take it from us.

It is my hope that several groups will transfer over and that we can get some huge fights.

Feel free to post questions or comments.

I never thought I would see that day where I could get away scott free with announcing a harrower on the UHall 4 days in advance and having someone refuse the offer to pvp. If all goes as planned, there should be more than enough competition. If it is too costly for the xfer, I could understand that. To many folks though, a transfer even for an evening is worth it. Who knows, if we get a good turn out, this could roll into Saturday night as well.

The above being said, one day soon I will oblige you and do the harrower on Atl.

And by minimum crew he means 2-3 of us battling the harry.

Pretty bad when we have consider breaking off half the guild to raid ourselves at this harry...cause the big bad pvpers are to cowardly or lazy to get off their butts and attempt a raid.

Cold day in hell before I agree to host a harry on Alt. I would rather hold it on Cats or GL and let players who have never seen one participate.

Will it be just your guild defending?
Or Your Guild with your Alliance helping?
Or Your Guild with Alliance and the 3 guilds that babysit
Or Your Guild with just the babysitters

Just want to know if its going to be the 15 or so you will have on from your guild along with the 5 more from your alliance plus the 15 babysitters that normally come help you defend?

Babysitters watch children while their parents are at work or out....

Friends watch out for each other whenever possible, including in online mmos!

Sorry I call it like I see it, biggest guild/alliance on shard cannot handle 5 people so they call in as you say *15 friends who only play other shards and only show * to defend them *, I just choose to call them babysitters and nothing wrong with either way yours or mine..........

Most people in UO play on other shards. I can't think of one person I know who only stays on one shard.

It's handy having friends that play on multiple servers who look for fights regularly. Babysitting has nothing to do with it.
You should be encouraging players who are newer to pvp to keep entering fel. Even if they on occasion need some experienced help. This guild is a medium sized group of people who usually specialize in pvm.

Why condemn anyone for putting fourth the effort to keep a dieing part of this game alive? If you choose to say they need babysitters I guess that's your thing. I think it's rather childish and unessesary.

I won't be able to attend but thank you K^S for getting this going. I hope there is a lot of pvp and fun!

I did not condemn anyone , I just wanted to know how many would be defending? I mean I think its a great idea but put all the facts out first, why should a guild say of 6 people transfer over to attempt to fight vs 35, you want them to have some fun. Personally for this type of event I would love somehow to deflect the cost by having a token that could transfer up to 20 chars with a 24 hour time limit on it , or something along that line..

I like that idea.... Mesanna make it so! We could have huge pvp 24 hr tournaments!

Like i told someone else that was acting tough for pvping on origin, just keep at it and one day when you become good enough come try it on atl, ok?

Bring them over? no see 3 of our guild mates happen to be in HI5 but just to be clear on the matter HI5 attack us just like they do you., My guild has no alliance with anyone because at one point a certain guild leader was moaning and groaning about how many we had* mind you the ones we had were just 1 or 2 person guilds from long ago they did not want to give up* so after all the moaning and groaning we changed our names and all went under one name , can you all say the same? But glad ya all had fun
