Funny thing happened at a Harry last night.

ok so the local pvp guild popped a public harry last night, hoping people would show up and get raided.

They seemingly stayed away...at least were no where to be seen when I came in.
So I popped him a couple times to get him to follow me and lured him to a more defensible position.

Made a shout out to my guild...but my guild is tiny...
reached out to friends... none were on.

So I played around with the harry a bit and lured it around.
Seldom have had 1v1 time with harry so I just played with it a little!
Occasionally someone would run in and then leave.
after around 25-30 mins the harry disappeared....so I went looking for it..searched around the dungeon about 2-3 mins later 8 stat scrolls pop into my pack.???
Can anyone explain this...or was it just bugged??

No idea. Years ago we kept one up for days. Maybe they put a timer on it so it will die after so long of not being damaged, who knows.

did another one today.....happened to pop in the same dungeon ( coincidence??) this one stayed around for the 45 mins or so it took us to kill it the usual way

Lol @ not knowing what a Harry is. Not sure if that's good or bad nowadays.

Fel champ spawn main boss... Harroweer ...get skull from each champ spawn.. Summon boss.. Drops stat scrolls.

16 STAT scrolls drop when he dies, so seeing as you got 8 id say he probably popped back to where he spawned at and was killed by probably one Tank guy with mages healing or some such (sampire or a greater) so the 8 where your roll on the scrolls?
that is my guess.

Not possible unless this tank can kill the false harry all the tentacles and the true harry...all in 2-3 mins! On top of that...the first thing I did was go to the spot he spawned and he wasnt there. He originally spawned just inside the door, I found out after others came in to help me look...no one was doing it.
I find it equally strange that when we popped another one the next morning....he appeared in the exact same dungeon in the exact same spot!

I am guessing we just found a buggy one.

Yes and it doesn't always happen....but ya bystanders often get sprayed with body parts when it does....forget finding bandies or petals or pots. Some I have seen literally drop a bag in the corner when they walk in the room, just so they have spares if they go down.

I have done a harrower a couple weeks ago as well and can verify that the thing disappeared into thin air shortly after beginning attacking it. We did not get the scrolls like Timberwolf did above. We paged a GM... did not get a response. We checked the alter to see if the gate was still up. It was not. Skulls gone.

On a different day we did Medusa, and she disappeared on us at about 3/4 life. After several minutes of standing around confused, some of us had drops appear in our backpacks.

Just a stab in the dark here but were you near any server lines? Maybe he crossed one and got zapped?

Deceit ...both times...

If the server line fried him....why did I get 8 stat scrolls when the true harrower was never summoned.....I didn't think you could get scrolls from the false Harry.....
