are account ages and rewards in sync right now? I feel like I am older without the number of choices 'available' being added.

Maybe I'm out of sync in my own head.

Account age is based on the number of months you have paid for the account to be active. Choices are added on anniversary dates.

So if my account was not active on my anniversary date, lets assume 5/1/15, even though it becomes active (with a purchase to re-open the account) on May 15 and becomes 13 months active on June 15 I do not get my added choices because it was closed on my 5/1 anniversary date?

You only get credit for days that your account was active. You DO NOT get credit for days that you did not pay for. If you let your account go inactive for any length of time you will get a new date, depending the number of days your account was inactive, that will become the new date that your account ages.
