It's mindblowing...
I'm not saying they shouldn't improve the system, but it's not bad doing one at a time. With my credit card info saved, it's just a click through and copy and paste the code, about 30 seconds per item.
They may get some more money out of me yet.

Yes but too many purchases like that and my bank sends out an alert thinking its fraud..just a pita and no reason to have a quantity drop down menu that only has a 1 in it.

Not relevant to OP, but ... 24 beds?
One bed = 9 plants
24 beds (x9 plants) = 216 plants
6 clicks per plant with Pinco's "gather seed" gump (includes setting plants to decorative to clear bed for next planting)
216 plants x 6 clicks = 1296 clicks
This doesn't count throwing away all the decorative plants or the clicks to replant all those beds
I have 7 plant beds and it's all I can stand, just can't imagine tending more than 3x that number

Because EA games can't understand why you would want more than one. Those who run the Origin store can't understand why you would want more than one... They mostly just deal with Game Time or actual Game purchases not Items in a game and NOT people who have multiple accounts and multiple copies of the same game... that they also can't comprehend. They simply can't understand why anyone would want to have more than one copy of a game. They don't understand having multiple accounts ... and most games they don't even have multiple characters... so they fail to understand that as well.... and many other "in-game" type items they have that aren't for UO are things a person can only have or use one of in the game... they don't understand that you can own and use 250 or more soulstones, or the bookcases, or anything for that matter.
This makes them paranoid that you might try to buy multiple copies of something to somehow resell and manipulate prices and cheat someone or something... so they put this sort of crap in place so that you can't resell this stuff at regular price later.

No I just did a few minutes ago.
I just tried to pay with a credit card and it failed twice. I know there is plenty of credit available. I was planning on upgrading 2 accounts with several things while they were on sale, and now i am buying zero things.
I didn't try to buy multiples or anything...started with one 7th char and storage, but it wouldn't let me.

European store do not allow to select Kings Collection, it redirect to other items depending on country. Asked few friends from different European countries - nobody I know can't do it.
I have applied both Rustic and Gothic packs and still can't craft some new furniture. It want Kings Collection

I had the page previously loaded while I was debating what to buy. But opening the items into a new tab gives me a 404 error.

Its not just a 404 error, Ultima Online isnt even listed as a game now.
Let's hope this is a temporary glitch

It's hard to take advantage of a sale when not a single UO product is listed...
I just went back to my 3 codes that I purchased yesterday, and yes I have my order number, and two of the 3 codes I purchased are working, but one is not. One code was entered immediately yesterday, for Stygian Abyss so I could wear some legendary items I had for that toon, but the forged tool purchase did not work...I realize it's $5 but $5 is $5. 
The other code, High Seas, now says it has been applied to that account.
OOPS. When I did the 6-5-5-5-5 conversion I made a mistake. Back to water for me
