So, any new info on the "Skill Masteries" system? Any new weps?
Several combat skills/abilities could use a bit of a buff/revamp, probably most notably Macing.

Since all players of the focus group have to agree to a NDA, I highly doubt, that there will be any real information, before that NDA is lifted...

Was hoping that the devs had released some more info about it since the video. Hopefully it's not like that crap they proposed years ago, where you could pick Skill Specializations based on your skills, and those Specializations would determine your property caps, like LRC/LMC/DCI, etc.

I guess those will be OP, so we all buy the expansion Just like with SA and mysticism/RCs.

They need to be pretty strong to get people to stop playing the current templates. I'll say this- it would have to be something pretty over the top to get me to stop playing my sampires.

120 melee weapon skill/tactics = immunity to disarm? make it happen!

Hope they bring out some new weps for Macing and Fencing to make them more competitive with Swords. You know something is wrong with Macing when a 120 Macing PS is 1/30th the price of a 120 Swords PS. Both Macing and Fencing could use a 1H Wep with Whirlwind (Flail for Macing), to compete with the Radiant Scimitar. Oh, and introduce some good Macing artifacts. The last time Macing had a good Artifact, was the Berserker's Maul in AoS.
Maybe make a Macing Mastery that allows Mace weps to either ignore Armor Stamina Protection (PvP), or deal 2x Stam damage (PvM). Revamp Crushing Blow as well (which Macing weps have a preponderance for), so that it also delivers something like a -5% Physical Resist debuff for 5 secs (PvP) or 10 secs (PvM).

I want my 120 wrestling/120 stealing able to have a chance to disarm steal your non-blessed weapons on Siege.

They should take this to the crafting skills also.

only around 5 masteries will be usefull at all
1 or 2 will be oped.

templates will be built around those for about 4 months until they are nerfed

end of story.

I would be happy if weapon skill mastery just let me pick the specials I want to use with whatever weapon.
