How do you delete a thread that has only the OP post?

I don't think normal users can delete threads, only their own posts within them. If you have a thread that you started which you would like deleted, you can use the report button or PM a moderator.

The time I deleted a post, I entered edit mode, clicked on "more options", and it gave me the option to delete.

Edit: Back to the drawing board. I just tried to delete an older post that had no responses (in another forum) and it didn't work this time. Guess he'll have to ask a Mod to help.

Try "thread tools" in the upper right of the the thread. If that doesn't work then yes, you will probably need a mod.

Thread tools doesn't offer a delete option. Does seem I'm trashed a thread I started in the wrong forum before though.
