I've been a bit out of the loop the past few months. Work has been a pain. I was wondering if those here could their stories about the Player Event Coordinators and the events they assisted with. What were the events like?
How many works of fiction were posted on the Facebook page? I've found three so far. Do you mind if I archive it into my Ultima Database?I worked with PEC Wraith on Pacific. A couple of weeks ago we had our event, and it went very smoothly. A few weeks prior to the actual event, I typed up some articles to kind of put some fiction behind my event, and PEC posted them to the UO Facebook page. In short, I put together a coalition of Governors to help take the Sultan of Nujel'm out of power for his hedonistic ways. Tinkerbell of Trinsic lent us a contingent of paladins, Elixar Eldurane of Minoc enlisted the assistance of his Virtue Guard, the UBB provided weapons and armor, and Capricorn of Vesper smuggled the contraband into Nujel'm. As Governor of New Magincia, I organized everything for the battle.
My original plan was to have everyone meet up on the beach in New Magincia, and sail to Nujel'm.. but after hearing stories of people tossing white nets at previous events, the PEC was able to create a gate for us instead. He also decorated Nujel'm with garbage and refuse; say like from a riot. He also created NPC's that were Paladins and Guards from the governor's armies, and they actually fought the Sultan's guards (similar to how pixies will attack negative karma mobs).
Was a lot of fun. We arrested the Sultan, and he is now awaiting trial. (my next event)
Chec out the UO Facebook page for the pictures, and articles I typed up. Might have to scroll down a little bit though, as this was a month or so ago.
Oh sweet! I didn't think to use the PEC's services for gating for auctions. I'll have to pass along this idea to my alliance auctioneers.i worked with PEC Wraith on Lake Superior. It was a pleasant experience - a big "Thumbs Up" for her. She assisted me with a request for a gate, lasting 3 hours, to the Red Cow Auction on Lake Superior. She required 7 days notice, precise locations, color, and tag of the gate. She also made a few suggestions which I will leverage for the next auction - if i remember!!! *smiles* Hope your work settles down for you.
Sure, no problem at all. Look for more in the upcoming weeks, as the Sultan's trial is upcoming =).How many works of fiction were posted on the Facebook page? I've found three so far. Do you mind if I archive it into my Ultima Database?
I worked with Wraith recently on Europa for a 3 day event called Shroud of Shadows. She was beyond great, completely exceeded my expectations. She is polite, easy to talk to and very helpful. She really saved the last event as the boss we created went down very quickly due to the amount of people there, so she swiftly created a new one that appeared like the boss had returned in its true form like the harrower which added to the story perfectly. This went on to be one of the most epic boss battles i've ever experienced.
Just remember arranging an event is a two way street and she has limits to her powers and what she is allowed to do for you. I planned with her well in advance where she answered all my questions swiftly and laid out ground rules on what she could do.
She was there in the shadows watching the whole time during the event incase anything went wrong or something needed adjusting which was great.
You can find a report of the event on my newspaper thread in the link below. It is the bottom post.

I really look forward to working with her again. And may i just say that after my event, Khaldun shadow fiends are lethal when buffed haha! The end boss took 40 minutes to defeat and required tactics, they have an AoE life leech that leeches a percentage by the look of things. It wasn't losing health with all the dragons on it as they have so much health to leech, so we had to call all the dragons off to kill it in the end. Everyone was dropping like flies too which made it a challenge.
