18th Anniversary Gift Suggestion Thread

- I would love to see a book/bag to organize the rune books, another for mage books. my pack is too cluttered, please help lol.
- an armor stand would be nice for building suits, when u put cursor over it, shows all stats, resists and mods. not fun trying build human suit when u are a gargoyle crafter ect.
- medical kit for my aids(50? or 100?), doubt this will ever happen lol, hate losing them. there's lrc suits and quivers now.
- recipe book
- something for all my wasted vet reward picks(robe and cloaks) that have been made worthless with new cloaks and robes lol
- wish there was option to price all deeds in bod book same price, try pricing 500 bods in a book lol
- im sure there's no chance at a 2nd house, but with all the deco out there, it would be nice
- a craftable gm to come when needed, just kidding

That whatever gift they will decide to offer, they actually release a gift for 18th Years active accounts to claim, but for all to use, and not a gift which any and all accounts from 15th Years onwards can claim....

Frankly, I see it as an insult to customers who have kept their accounts as active for 18 years to see that then younger accounts are valued just as much....... it really loosens the value of having been a loyal customer for so long, as I see it.

Long life to Ultima Online so, when the game will be 20 Years old (which is only in a couple of years) accounts maintained and paid for 20 long years will be seen just as much valued by Broadsword as accounts which have only been kept as active for 15 Years ?

I see this as a slap in the face to the top Years loyal customers and it needs to be rectified.

I hope that the gift for this Year is to see top Veterans be recognized their longest term loyalty and that 18th Year gifts will only be claimable by accounts which have actually been kept as active for so long, 18 Years..... then, whatever the gift, might be used by lower years but the important thing is that 18th Years Veterans who kept their accounts active, no matter what for such a whopping long time, will be recognized by Broadsword this incredible loyalty to Ultima Online and be offered their gift, for their 18 Years, and not a gift which all accounts from 15 Years onwards can claim.

Of course, there can be other gifts which lower years will be able to claim as well.

That's my wish for Ultima Online's 18th birthday.....

I would like to see more organizer agents that function as a single lockdown. This frees up storage space, can provide pretty deco, and add some functionality. Add menus like the bazaar vendors or something.

Ideas:

Mystics Satchel: holds up to 60k of all SA crafting materials.
Woodworkers bench(add functionality): holds up to 60k of each board type and runic tools.
Blacksmith toolbox: holds up to 60k of all ingots and runics.
Recipe books

Weekly updates, daily twitter updates.
you know the normal things that Devs do with there player base and no just leave them for months on end with nothing to go on.
oh and a good proper uo video about uo and no some trashy video they made on a work day out at our expense.

When the right person is in place, social media can so help a business with their customer service. Canned responses from GM requests have always fallen flat in the gaming industry, they need to catch up and maximize their presence on social media.

The possibilities are endless.....

From the "Jewel Box" where one can store up 500+ jewels but counting as 1 item, to the "Armoire" where one can store up to 500+ armour pieces but counting as 1 item, to the "Weapons Rack", capable ot storing 500+ weapons but counting as 1 item, to A container for 500+ "Shields" but counting as 1 item, to Rune books that can hold more then the current mere 16 (it would be cool to have a rune book for 500 runes !!), A "Recipe" Book where one can store up to 500 Recipes but counting as 1 item, A cool container to store all of ones' own "Talismans" whether for crafting or for Hunting, but counting as 1 item, And what about all those "Musical Instruments" one needs with slayers or charges to Hunt as a bard ? Not to mention then, all those items which are still waiting to be made stackable like Blackrock pieces, Blackrock Stew, and it would be handfull then to have a number of crafting tools be made possible to combine their charges like Pickaxes, Shovels, Hammers etc.

And I could keep going listing either items which could get containers created for them to drastically reduce their item count or items which could be made as stackables....

I'm okay with older accounts getting something rare so long as it has no gold value, so long as the rare 18th anniversity gift is account bound and not able to be sold or traded.

If your point is you have been loyally paying for 18 years and want to show everyone else this in game then no need for the item to be valuable, just flaunt worthy.

There are already unique titles available based on account age. IMO there is no need for anything else. The tangible reward for accounts older than 15 years are additional reward selections. An 18 year old account has had the opportunity to pick more rewards than an account that is only 16 years old.

Considering that an older year account has spent monthly subscription "real" money for more years, I do not see why, even if a veteran wanted to get back some benefit in UO gold, that would be such a horror......

There is much worse things in the game, to my opinion, such has the Event rares generated a go-go and even with multi-boxing often, at Events all over the Shards...

I would like to claim a "Property Deed" or something like that, that would allow me to place a 2nd house on my main account. And I mean a whole house, not just a garden shed with 250 item storage that must be placed in an existing house. What is the harm at this point, plenty of housing available on most shards, and a lot of people already play the every 90 days game.

Since we will never get a second home deed how about anything that will cut down on storage such as:
An Armory (A container to hold and separate all your armor/weapons and doesn't count against storage).
I do like the Jewelry Box idea as well.
I also wouldn't mind seeing Ingredient chests (something similar to a seed box that automatically separates and stores all your ingredients when dropped in and doesn't count against storage).

I was told that you are supposed to throw away your crap for turn in points. Which OK... I could.... but what is the point of giving us collectable stuff if we are supposed to turn around and throw it all away? I fail to see this as a valid point. Also if I've gotten all the turn in's... again... what is the point of having millions of points if I don't have anything to use them on. The Dyes are awesome but at only 5 charges I don't get them just to get them... I get what I need when I need or get one to keep in case I might need it and it's removed from the list but I don't just spend spend spend on the points to gather more dyes... though they are stackable I just think that 5 uses really doesn't go far. It won't even dye a full suit. Rather disgusted and annoyed spending that many points on just 5 uses.

I agree anything that cuts down on my lockdowns is VERY much appreciated. I'm so tired of managing them. So much so that there are many activities I just don't do anymore because they generate too many items.... T-Hunting and MIB's are prime examples. I just can't bring myself to throw out the deco items... someone might need them... but I just don't have the space to store them anymore so I quit doing them. Don't tame pets anymore because I don't have stable space for more pets. Champ spawns, Peerless... etc.. all generate more crap I don't have room for. Each Holiday or Anniversary I can generate over 100 items... upwards of 300 depending on how many items are given... The new plants netted me over 200 lockdowns... and stuffed countless bankboxes which are overflowing... Slowly I'm attempting to send home items to be thrown away... but that is slow and daunting task. If points were by account I could do it much faster but since they are per character I only throw stuff away on ONE character. This way I always know how many points I have and where they are. But this is starting to lead to me just not doing things in-game. Don't want to go to Auction because I might be tempted to buy more crap I can't store... About the only thing I truly enjoy anymore is the EM event on GL's.. when I can do them... but again with the stuff. Sometimes there is awesome loot on the mobs... or if I'm super lucky a drop... getting hard though to enjoy much else as the issue of space is reaching critical stages.

NPC housekeepers that keep track of and announce out loud our lock down/storage numbers when we secure and release items in our houses.

If possible they could search for missing items by looking under the foundation when asked?

Having the housekeeper search for items we have misplaced and walk to the container they are in would be a big help.

Allow us to name and style our housekeepers.

To make it more realistic I guess we'd have to pay them a salary and give them sleeping quarters too.

The old Ultimas had companions i think it would be neat if you could have a very limited stationary support or fighting one or even a trade skill one your mining he's mining but it would have to be limited low level spells or low swings but let it be customized pick the class off a token non transferable not changeable make the them character bound so there's no mass selling

I have "multiple" accounts I hate to say how many anymore.. but my "solution" to that is that I have one "key" house... in this house I keep a chest for each account and in that chest I keep a bag for each character on that account.. inside the bags I keep that characters "personal" items that I might need. Even if they have a certain "color" they wear I put a dye tub in their bag set to that color. RP things like Willa's old wedding band, a necklace given by her ex-husband etc... And in each chest I keep 2 other bags... One is for crafting soulstones the other for "general" soulstones. This way I always know which soulstones belong to which account. And I don't label the chests... and each bag is only labeled with the characters name or part of their name.... often not their full name. For security reasons.

But then I also keep charts of which characters are on what account... what house that account has... it's age... which account has shard shields and where those are to... What sort of character they are... Tamer/dexer/mage/crafter/fisher etc... And what city they are "loyal" to. I also keep charts for each tamer as to what pets they have in the stables and what rating each of them is, and what color the pet is if they are colored pets.
