Well Known Map Site Gone???

Hi Everyone!

I was hoping maybe someone could help me figure out what has happened to a well known, highly recommended map site.

The site is Ultima Online Travelogues/Adventurer's Guide @ aschulze.net. This is NOT a 'third party program'. Just a site where someone cared enough to make very detailed maps of the UO world. I was using it as recently as 2 weeks ago. I went to go there last night and it is saying 'website not found'.

I can't be the only one who uses this site, so can anyone tell me what has happened? Does this happen when he updates his maps?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I've never heard of it. Been playing off and on since 2001. I pretty much stick to UOGuide and Stratics, sometimes still the Tower Of Roses BOD tables but that's about it. I use UOAM for my map needs.

I used to use UOAM but when they changed all the codes I couldnt get it to work anymore. They seem to think everyone plays the EC which I have to admit has an excellent map program. Too bad they cant seem to incorporate it into the CC.

I remember reading the travelogues. The stories began in the very earliest days of UO. The player who created the site left UO for quite a while, but kept the site active. If memory serves me right, he eventually returned to UO (and Stratics)... but I cannot recall his name. :(

I am thinking that was Hawkeye Pike as well. Loved those map downloads :(

There hadn't been an update to the site since 2011, but very much did go there and visit.

I thought the aschulze site was the one that had the memory lane video, can't remember the name of it, but it had "Bittersweet Symphony" as a soundtrack? Any ideas?
