I think all accounts should have access to shard shields to smooth the process of merging all the shards into a single pre-Trammel ruleset shard that is free to play. The shard shields could be available from the Origin Store with GMs coordinating the addition of the shields through the account managment site! To celebrate these changes everyone will get all EM event drops but the drops will be shard bound..
