Uninsured items Disappearing after death.

1. No one but me inside house
2. killed myself
3. rezzed with ankh
4. items were uninsured
5. they were not on corpse to pick back up.

Does uninsured mean items disappear when you die now? Thought the items should just stay on body until i returned.

6. tested again in a different house, same result.

Both houses were in fell and both were private with little to no one accessed.



Any insight on this?

Did they auto equip on clicking of body? Or just gone?

when i clicked on bottom nothing came back that was uninsured. not in back pack, corpse, or bank. Sux because it was a decent suit i was putting together. lesson learned lol.

I've had insured items disappear twice in the last Month

I am so glad I don't have to deal with insurance issues like. It would really suck if I lost an item I thought was safe and secure.

While we do have our Siege blesses, every time I leave the comfort of home, I always know there is a chance of getting killed and fully looted.

If insurance is broken there is a good chance that siege blesses and prodo shard blesses might also be broken, might want to check that just in case hehe.

Yeah i have now duplicated the problem twice. Doesnt happen all the time, so im still trying to narrow down the problem to exactly why it does it. Ill let you guys know when i figure it out.

Thank you for testing it out for us. Approximately how many times have you tried this so we can get some initial ideas on the percentage of time this is happening?

Ive killed myself about 20 times so far. It seems to be the new loot style items that are prone to disappearing. None of the old reforged or imbued items disappeared, just items with antique or brittle on them(i dont have any prized gear). When one item of that genre goes, all of them go. so the first time i lost 5 pieces of armor. Then in the future tests i did two items each time, when it happened both items would go. At this point id say you have about a ten percent chance of losing items.

I havent seen any pre patch armor disappear yet but as @Lord Nabin has stated, he lost some insured items.

I really dont have a fail safe recommendation other than not dying.

If i was UO i would start to look at the new loot system patches as it seems problems started occurring then. Im sure when they put in the new drop system, like always, something else was affected.

If you do a search you will find that this has been happening since insurance was introduced.
