I love your work, Pinco.
But the vendor search doesn't work fine. You can't enable sort by price, because the window doesn't stay open to allow me to do it. I switch to default and enable search by price, but it doesn't stick when I switch back to Pinco's. I've just given up on it and switch to default for vendor search and buying from player vendors (the problem there is it won't let me click on an item and buy it after I use the vendor map to open the container containing the item).
I was trying to turn in a quest yesterday and could not get a cursor when I clicked on the toggle quest item item and couldn't get toggle quest item to come up on my character. So, again, I logged out, logged back in with default, completed the quest, logged out, then logged back into Pinco's.
I'm making two points.
1. Not many players are going to go to all that trouble.
2. I wish Broadsword would acknowledge the immense value of Pinco's and support it - it's in their own best interest to do so
the price sort must be activated with CC or the old default. That's a problem of some characters that used the vendor search and never activated the price sort, nowdays the price sort is activated automatically, but for those characters must be activated manually and there is no automatic fix for that. Simply if the price sort is not active the gump doesn't work.
The context menu cannot be improved, use the actions or disable the target window buttons if you have trouble with that because I can't do anything else...
Those old pre- human history, etc, etc, folks who wrote the CC did know how to make a good client didn't they?

it's not better, is just older and when it had problems like the EC has now there was several people working on it to making it work. Now there is simply not enough manpower to make it right for good, so you should be happy that at least you can play it
And Pinco... I'd love to keep donating if that's what it takes. But you rejected my autopay... And I have the memory of a thimble... I wish others would continue to support your UI as well. My guess is they just don't understand the time and effort you put in. And I agree with Yadd they should have hired you permanently even if it is in a Part time position... Obviously no one there really seems to get the EC.
I'm not rejecting it, it's just paypal that says "we are unable to process and we will try next week" until it stops it for too many failures...
I'm still waiting on a fix for the insane lag issue with EM events. Even with a new computer that gets a rating of 7.8.... with internet that has a ping of 25 and speedtests at 115 regularly I'm still locking up for almost a min everytime I die and still opening a public corpse while it doesn't crash the client it does make it "not responding" for almost 2 full min even with the change to loot sorting Pinco put in... and everything else.
The true problem is the entire loot system. They should just give everyone his share of loot (no public loot with thousands items), with few decent items and a chance of high end for a total of 3-4 items and some gold.
Once upon a time this game had only the public loot with few items in it, but since ML they started to add bosses with huge amount of trash in order to give everyone something, and then was the time the loot system started to go in the wrong path... now it's just insane.
