Yes, do what I am going to do, come back tomorrow. Once or twice ok, but the continuing noise is juvenille and not something I wanna put up with all day.
If you use something like NoScript, not letting the stratics.com domain run scripts gets rid of it.
I loaded it up this morning, thought it was funny. Forgot about it and came back to the site again and laughed again. My wife did not approve.

Just shouldn't use Internet on Aprils fools at all. Barrage of ******** from every imaginable outlet. Every user, forum, news outlet and internet personality has their own selection of totally awesome jokes. Combine it all together and it turns to perfect storm of ********. Of course, every proper cunning pranksta starts his April Fools day at 00:01 according to GMT+12 and ends it around 23:59 GMT. After that, all the spilled bullshhit generated will stay in Internet for rest of eternity and pop up here and there. AARGH

It doesn't register as " goofy fart sound hihi" as much as " weird **** I currently should not hear." And when you hear your browser making weird sounds " Why did I just hear that?" is what gets asked, not " What did I just hear?!" So it makes a fine April fools prank to be sure! Just that it makes Totally Awesome April Fools Prank #1123322 everybody got exposed to.
That wasn't pancakes about Stratics or their fine fart jokes as such. " Whatever" is most remarkable powerful feeling I seem to manage to feel about it. But there's plenty of legit reasons to be sick of the day in general. Offline, April Fools is all well and good and stuff. Almost everything that Internet is all about makes April Fools really legitimate PITA thing to bring Online tho. BS generated on April Fools doesn't disappear the morning after.

Yup. Had the same issue and stayed away from Stratics all day after it. Sorry didn't see the humor in fart sounds and I did not have the option on my screen to turn that off for some odd reason.
Then I played GW2 yesterday and their April Fools Joke was we were wearing aviation head gear and ran around with our arms stuck out by our sides making airplanes sounds with the character voice. Even when we were fighting was only time our arms would move then go out to their side after each attack. Imagine 300+ running in a group not attacking anything and all we could hear in game was each char making airplane sounds lol.

My wife did not approve either and turned her sound off...being the dedicated husband that I am...I turned mine up to compensate!I loaded it up this morning, thought it was funny. Forgot about it and came back to the site again and laughed again. My wife did not approve.

Personally... My morning routine is to zombie my way to my coffee pot, followed by tripping over some toys, playstation controllers, and shoes on the way to my computer. Then I sit and surf the net while waking up. Yesterday morning I thought I had finally lost my mind when my laptop was farting at me. Took me a good 10 minutes to figure out what the hell was going on lol. (and here I said no one was going to get me on April 1st.. HA!)
Then when the kids got off school I cranked the volume and they both had fits of laughter for about 15 minutes.
I for one appreciate little distractions out of standard normality. Even at my own expense hehe.

My girls got a kick out of it too!
