Gardening Contract Not Working!!

I planted several plants in the New Magincia gardens during the first week of January 2015. I decided to try out the new gardening contract recently, so I purchased 1 contract for each of the plants I had. and followed the directions as instructed.
Sadly, I returned to the gardens today to check on the plants, as the contract expires tomorrow and found only 1 plant remaining, which was "wilted". the other 2 plants are gone! dead I presume and disappeared? I also attempted to water the 1 remaining wilted plant and got the phrase "I didn't need to water it"

That be Napa shard as I have been watching the gardens myself to see what comes of it.
Gots lots of precious and rare seeds I'd, too, like to plant...

Yes Napa. I checked on the plants today as well. (1 in tram and 1 in fel gardens) both are now dying!...
I tried to water and I can not do this until contract expires later today. Hopefully they will stay alive that long and not disappear

Plants are now in the dying stage and the gardening contract should have expired but yet it remains and I am unable to care for the plants.
I will wait till the end of the day and hopefully will be able to save my poor dying trees, otherwise I will retrieve them from the gardens. Oh the Gardeners are Fired!!

I have retrieved my plants from the Magincia Gardens.
Although the gardening contract should have expired, it remains listed on the plant even after set to decorative and in my back pack.

The gardening contract is valid until the first server maintenance after the expiration date listed. What was the status of the plant before you used the gardening contract?

All plants were vibrant and healthy when the gardening contracts were used. Today they were in the dying stage and may have perished by server maintenance tomorrow, so I retrieved them.
It does have a Time listed when the contract was to expire, am I to presume the time doesn't matter?

When did you use the gardening contracts?
The time does matter, but the checks only occur during server maintenance. That's why it's the first server maintenance after the expiration date and time.

The contracts say they are to expire today at 13:33 and 13:34, So it has been 2 weeks since I used them I guess.
The gardeners were not maintaining them (obviously) or they would not be dying or have died
I had 6 plants total (Tram n Fel gardens) only 2 remained. Possible by tomorrow with server up, they would be gone/disappeared/dead as the others were.

Thanks for the additional info. What was the growth stage of the plant when you used the gardening contract?

They were fully grown (were planted in January 2015. )
