I seen some plaques or signs that you can hang. That say Bardic Guild, Warriors' Guild and so on. Just wondering how you get them.
These are from the city trade quests that begin at city trade ministers. Remember that in order to be eligible let for them and other rare rewards you can't use moongates.I seen some plaques or signs that you can hang. That say Bardic Guild, Warriors' Guild and so on. Thanks..you get them from the traders quests, go to brit docks and look for the trader and talk to him, and its a chance to get a pinky, resources or a guild sign as a reward
If you're unable to kill the monsters you can just run past them. You don't actually have to kill them. I would think a 90 swordsman could handle some of it but I'm not certain... and sometimes you'll end up with 2 spawns on you if you don't kill them fast enough.I am curious about the number of mobs for a players skill level. I see in the pictures quite a few mobs but then Frarc did ask others to join him in this quest. Wondering how many a 90 ish swordsman would face on this quest? I just hate to take a quest and then not be able to finish it.
I would think your 90's Swordsman should be fine. It is typically a couple of brigands, an orc mage or 2, an earth elemental, maybe an ogre lord and/or a giant spider. Mix and match a MAXIMUM or 5 of those. Sometimes 3 or 4. That is what I normally face. ALSO, I am told that the "ambushers" are geared to the quester's skill level, so you might not face even that many.I am curious about the number of mobs for a players skill level. That's for sure! And these aren't your everyday Deep Sea Serpents...... these are more like a paragon version. Supposedly it's "scaled" to your character..... but apparently my character can handle being one hit killed. Getting hit from these things does some 75 damage and if you have 2 of them on ya... well that's all she wrote for most folk.if you happen to go sailing with this particular quest, you will run into Deep Sea Serpents, Water Elementals, Krakens and Sea Serpents. Kinda rocks the boat when you have 4 Deep Sea Serpents and 2 Sea Serpents on you....
My character did too. Though she's learned now that if it's a mission over the ocean stop at the stables first and pick up the greater meatshield. Since her rescue from the slavers Ariel has decided to aid the city in whatever way she can. Being someone who has many animal friends now she has opted to let them help her in the trade missions. Typically she takes the Hiryu with her as she hates listening to her bane cry all the time about wanting food. But for the Sea Voyages.... it's a greater dragon.Yeah I killl the overland mobs, and keep sailing when I see the ocean ones
And just an interesting item, one of my chars got a sign on his very first trade run. So I guess it is possible, just not likely
That's what I do as well for the overland ones. I ride my Hiryu, and then turn him loose on the spawn. It works like a charm! My character did too. Yep..... being from Yew I always start my quests from there... It's not a bad sail from there to Jhelom or Glow... going to New Magincia can get a bit hairy .... but it isn't too bad with the dragon. That's what I do as well for the overland ones.
