Do Halloween Costumes spawn on Acid Elemental [Renowned]? Dev confirmation?

UO Guide has it as they do and had a couple of folks mention they got a few, but it was awhile back.

Anyone get any recently? If so, is it all the costumes or simply the initial 5?

I know we've had two which spawn on spring clean-up for years now, but wasn't aware they were also spawning elsewhere.

My pricing structure on these was always based on the cost of points when the two waves of them came out with the two from spring clean-up adjusted accordingly. If they are an open random spawn where you have just as much chance at a skeleton and a giant pixie... I'd like to know so I can rework the pricing based on desirability rather than original origin.

One does drop. A terathan costume. I've gotten 3 of them . Was trying to get the berserkers breastplate. Never got it tho. I've got about 2000 of the black essence so far if that gives you an idea of how rare it is.

It's only the one costume tho as far as I know and the last one I got was about 6 months ago.

same here i also got 3 terathan warrior costumes from the acid ele renowned never got any from any other renowned

I killed a hundred or so a few months ago - never saw one.

At the Dev meet and greet on Siege I asked about it and Kyronix said =
"Halloween costumes do not appear to be in the loot of that mob"

Weird I never knew that... too bad it'd be nice to have a way to get them. Be very nice if more were added to spring clean. We could use some new costumes. Infact... we need a "costume" slot added to the paperdoll so I don't have to lose a weapon to wear one.

A costume slot would open up a whole new RP experience, and should have been part of the game years ago....calling yourselves Fred and Bob just never had the right effect.

Oh I couldn't agree more. I've always maintained that adding a costume slot would certainly bring a HUGE bonus to RP. Think of all the races and such one could RP as. Pixies, skeletons, zombies, ophidians etc... And they could come out with more costumes and choices. Would be awesome.

A costume slot has been suggested for years, with various devs saying it was a great idea...then never implementing it. Sad.

The slot should accept all the form changing items, without restricting a weapon's special moves.

I agree Dot, but we have to face the facts. UO, at this point, is running on life support. We, in my opinion, are lucky the game is still around. I seriously doubt that we will get much more of ANYTHING in the way of content before the game ends. (I sure hope I am wrong though). We will be lucky if we get the expansion Mesanna promised by 2016. I plan to be here until the end, but I am very afraid that the day is coming much sooner than people realize! AGAIN, I sure hope I am wrong though!!!!!!!

I'm with you on that. But I try to remain optimistic... though it's hard.

They will at least see how many buy the expansion, the exsistance of uo probably will be determined by how many buy the expansion. IMO a land expansion will probably do better than high seas did. Let's hope it's a good one.

Yeah, i farmed the Acid Elemental [Renowned] quite a bit too. Then i did a Vendor Search when it first came out, and some moron had put a Blessed Breastplate of the Berserker up on his vendor for 1 Mill. I bought that faster than you could blink.
