lol really, just go sit in general chat, 10 years ago most of those people would have been banned, they dont perma ban anyone anymore

I don't think they ban IP's but even if they did couldn't you just download and use an IP blocker to get a new account in?

Its most likely the account that is banned not the IP. He can always make another account.
You have private and public IP's in a sense. A computer directly connected to the internet will always have the same IP. If you have a wireless router and use any wireless device now days ( includes xbox) on your home network you will get assigned a different IP. Strange but true people in your neighborhood that has the same provider may have the same private IP. That's just the gist of it not going all technical and in depth into it.
IP blockers are useless. Its just a cheap firewall called by another name and your provider actually has a better firewall. It just blocks block access to certain IP addresses ( more like a parental site blocker), or you can block other IP addresses from accessing your computer.

Anyone who goes to Atlantic haven often or Atlantic help chat knows him very well. He has been in Atlantic general chat lately to.
Saul was in Atlantic help chat last night, painting himself as the victim and Norrington as a "bully" for calling him out. The whole thing was so silly I got distracted reading the chat and let myself get killed in the abyss. I have to say, one of the reasons I keep playing UO is watching this kind of drama play out, sorry to admit it, and Saul is a master at it. There was thread on this a couple days ago, but I can't find the link.
Hm, I thought it was a topic worth debating, whether somebody should be banned or not for outrageous speech, but maybe it went over the line, I don't remember every post. I would have deleted posts that were went too far rather than the whole thread.
I like Saul. He is funny.

By definition, Rico, I'd say you're probably right. Maybe it was Saul himself that started the rumor he was perma banned.
Certainly could have been. Then again, I was perma banned a couple of times from Stratics (details must remain unsaid) but I'm back from both bannings. Maybe the one that banned him got over-ruled by another?
