How do the vendor maps work?

I love the new vendor system (wish this had been part of the game a long time ago), but have been wondering lately, how the plot a course feature is supposed to work.

When I hit that button, all it does is go into think mode. I was hoping it would give me the route to take to find some of the vendors who are out in the wild. If it worked for me, it would be awesome. Unfortunately, it doesn't so it doesn't get my elvish seal of approval.

Please help!!!

Right click on the map and click teleport to vendor - that's how they work

Right click on the map and click teleport to vendor - that's how they work

I had no idea there was a teleport option. Wow; how cool is that?

The map will also tell you which vendor its one and you can use to map to teleport back to where you were.

The map will also tell you which vendor its one and you can use to map to teleport back to where you were.

Not only does it tell you it opens the vendors pack for you with a left click on the map.

It is amazing how the developers have made the game more helpful, while at the same time creating a less user friendly game. The learning curve has really been increased since the game's inception.
