What the hell is going on, I still can't buy GTCs at origin! I can't buy at Origin since end of December!

I wrote emails.... still not able to pay not with paysafecard, paypal or CC!!!!!!!!! The last GTCs I got from friends. All I want is to buy GTCs or whatever at the damn origin store!

And no I don't want to pay at mystic account system with CC and pay € 67,99 instead € 45,99 at Origin!
I lost a house because of not being able to buy, and than forgetting to reaktivate the account and 2,5 days after it was condemned and I paid it was allready down! and now the next castle is condemmned! And because of the damn new idoc **** I can't get in the castle with my coowner te get my stuff out!

Seems they don't want me anymore! Its the fist time in the 14 years of playing UO that I just want to give up!

I really don't want to whine, but its so frustrating!

I too just got hit by the fact, that accounts, which have been reactivated during RTB got added the paid game time after RTB ended.
So I assumed, that the 90 days are based on the account expiration.
Seems this was wrong, to my surprise I found now 4 houses in decay. Would have been not a biggie, simply reactivate, but now with all the negative consequences (vendors unusable, security messed up etc.) we just discussed it is no longer fun.
I am tempted to let that entire trash go for good, really tempted. When paying customers are ignored ...

what exactly is stopping you from buying stuff at the Origin store.
ive used my CC there with no problems.
im currently using my paypal there with no problems.
are you sure this isnt a end user error?
is your paypal account not verified or something?

I buy game time via origin.com using paypal or my card. I need to resub one account on the 15th so I will test it a few days before then. Maybe this weekend.

A while back Origin got hacked a lot of people who's info was taken, and had to have fraudulent charges removed have had their card blacklisted by EA, not only their card but anything associated with their bank account.

I know that's one cause, I've been dealing with that myself. I've tried getting them to remove the block but Nope, not happening.

That is a BIG Negative. I had a extreme problem with my origin account in Dec and finally got it resolved at the end of Jan. Upon getting my accounts unbanned I went to purchase game time on Origin and it won't take any of the 3 credit cards i put in nor would it accept my bank card that had been saved in the system for my Origin account the past 3 yrs. I went ahead and coughed up the extra money to pay on mythic this time. I will make sure though the next time I will have this issue resolved with Origin or buy Origin gift cards from Best Buy. If I have to go with mythic again for paying on my accounts there will be some downsizing of accounts on my part.

Try ordering the $20 EA game time cards from Walmarts with your cc, stick them in the Origin Store EA wallet setup, and buy from Origin using those. Takes a few hours for the email with the card numbers to arrive.

Mesanna fix this for people one by one. Takes a few days but it works. Happened to friends and they were about to quit when billing ran out. The customer service didnt do a thing exept blocking their hacked account and accusing them for being frauds.

Pretty bad when a company is apathetic about taking your money. Don`t even care enough to make it easy for you to spend your money on them. Ridiculous. No wonder this game is dying a slow death. Keep chasing away your vets Broadsword. Great work carrying on the old UO/EA traditions.

Such as EA/UO..... not only do you have to find work arounds for nonsense ingame but you even have to find a work around in order to GIVE THEM MONEY.

But this is part of the problem. Never fix anything, just create a work a get-by workaround for it. really? I think there are quite a few people who are tired of the make-do workings. And yet, so few actually complain. This game is so full of fanbois, that if they coded in a bucket of steaming poo for Christmas, half of yall would go "Oh yay!! I can put that in my stable!!" lol

meaning.... they tell me that my payment cant be proceded at the moment and i should try another payment method or i should try it later again. but when i try it with another payment its the same.

my paypal is fine my CC is fine using both for other stuff at other shops without problems. paysafe card... well they cancled my contract because of UO *chuckles* on my CC are weird payments to origin... a few times 1 euro and after a month I got the 1 euro back. don't ask me whats going on its just annoying.

wouldn't i have so many great friends i would have lost not just one house i would have lost 5 by now.... a friend gave me a GTC so the castle and its packed with good stuff. the castle has extended storage and there is just place left for 17 items.... would have been a great idoc *grins*

well I had 8 accounts 3-4 full paid the rest just for storage all few month.... I got rid (one idoc and one I just put the stuff in the other houses) of 2 because of the whole payment thing and I have desided I will give up 2 more. i know its not much money but they do loose money because of their way to treat customers.

wouldn't there be so many addicted and loyal UO players out there who deal with all the annoying ****, UO wouln't be anymore.....

* Using a second account, I *only* have Paypal as an option, and that mostly works. If I add any of my credit cards to that one, it stops working until I remove the credit card.
* "Subscribe" at the other site, though only one credit card works there, (and now I can't use game time codes).

Anyone else ever miss buying codes at RL stores as being an option? Japan uses Amazon's Japanese store; is there no way UO could sell at Amazon for all of us in the west as well?
