Buggie Character Question

I have at last found the time to develop some characters on 2nd account. Noticed a few hours into working with one that he can no longer use the hiding skill at all.... Get the message "You must wait a few moments to use another skill" every time. Even after fresh log in. Even after closing the game entirely.

I thought I read somewhere that killing characters that were "stuck" like this was a possible solution...so he died. Not only did this not solve the issue it appears to have caused it to spread as now he can no longer meditate and is getting the same message.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I had that happen once and a GM had to fix it.

I think honor yourself fixes it

Usually if you go honor something and kill it that fixes it.

Other suggestions might work but what worked for me was having someone invis me and then stealth away. The dark queen even offered to come fix me but alas leave it to the good people that play to fix the problem.

vinny...I wish I could shake your virtual hand,,,lol,,,,my char has been stuck like that for months...I just stoned over stealth and already had hiding.....so I tried it: it didn't work,,,,however,I logged off,then shut down uo,,started it back up,signed on and was able to use my skills again! so thanks and I hope this works for the Varingian

you could have just used a moongate Vinny, it hides you when you reach the other side.

The Hide/Invis and then Stealth did not work for me. However the HONOR self solved the problem. Huge thank you to ALL who responded!
