Account recovery

I think it would be difficult to recover an account just going from character names. You could shoot an email to the "support" and explain your situation. They might have a procedure for cases like this or maybe get back to you asking for some more information.
Good luck! Unfortunately, I am afraid that the account management system is horrible to navigate. I shutter to think what would happen if I ever had a problem with it. I suspect I would get so frustrated that I would toss in the towel and call it a day! Again, good luck. I hope your problem gets resolved. UO NEEDS ALL THE PLAYERS IT CAN GET!

Please email [email protected] and provide them with enough information to identify it is your account and they will be more than happy to assist you with this.
This is some of the questions they would ask of you to identify the account properly:
Secret word
CD Keys
Date of Birth
First and last name on the account
Payment info (last 4 numbers only)
Email address attached to the account
Phone number
State/country
Name of Account
Characters on Account

I recently reactiavted a account that was offline for 7 years took a week fighting with them to find it but since then I've made a guide to reactivate them
List all this as best you can you don't need all the info but try
Your name.
Birthdate.
City state zip.
Phone number at the time you played.
Credit card holders name and birth date.
Secret word answer what it would be for all 3 questions- mothers maiden name - pet name- hospital you were born in.
Email at the time you played take a lot of guesses if you don't know it's probably your name and a current year birth year or graduating year.
The year your account was activated .
The year you closed account.
Account name.
List all the characters you remember.
List the shard you played.
Then the final step is copy all of this then send it 5 times when you send it 5 times you get 5 differint techs working your case and in my experience not every tech is as bright as the other my last day before i peiced it all together I still had 2 people telling me they couldn't find it when I had been argueing with the 3 who did but had to verify ownership.
So that's my guide I'm 7 for 8 on helping people out with it thought I would share hope it helps!

Do you have still your old PC on which you played the game?
If yes, you may find the account name in mails related to subscription end notifications or in a few folders, for classic client either in subfolder desktop in your UO game directory or for newer installations in Documents folder under EA Games\Ultima Online Legacy\User Data. Also the UOAssist folder can contain subfolders with account name under UOA Settings.
