BOD Pricing

I posted this in the craftsman forum...but no answers yet so i thought I'd try here.

I have a a ton of BODs (both smith and tailor) I want to sell on my vendors but I am clueless as to how to price them....I also cannot find much using vendor search. Sorry if this is a silly question or posted in the wrong place, but can anyone steer me in the direction of getting advice of BOD pricing? Thanks in advance.

Your best bet IMO is to sell them in bulk. Most players that do bods would rather buy them all at once.

First I'd walk around all Luna to see if there are any BOD vendors on your shard. You can use that as a basis for your pricing assuming the other person knows what they are doing or you can figure your own prices. For example figure out what reward the BODs give and base your prices on something fair.

For example a smithing BOD that gives a 90% chance at Powder of Fortifying and Powder of Fortifying sells fast on your shard for around 100k. SO some sort of significant discount from 100k since you aren't doing the bod or supplying the ingots to make the items might be fair.

Or some sort of price you would be happy with for a book of random BODs you collected. Put 100 in a book pick a price you like and set it out on a vendor and drop a few runes to your vendor in Luna. If it sells fast consistently then consider bumping the price up a bit. If it sits forever then lower.

And finally Vendor Search doesn't find BOD's on vendors that are in a Bulk Order Book. However. Vendor Search can find loose BOD's if any exist on your shard. Simply type 'Amount to make' in Vendor search and single BODs will show. But don't hold your breath as most people sell them in Bulk Order Books.

Good advice from Cat. In the old days when such things were available on Legends, I used to pay quite a bit for single barbed leather BODs that allowed me to finish large BODs for barbed runic kits.

With bribing, if you just have the right bod to start with, it can always be a nice one in the end for as low as 500 gp. First step I think is usually excep instead of normal then usually up from 10 to 15 and then 20 but there you will find upgrade in sort a lot more from leather to horned and then barbed. But in the mix it will change numbers aswell. Good luck, I've made 2 val hammers untill I realised that I didnt have the ingote to make the parts!

Can confirm, I buy every copper hammer I see on ATL at 300k or less. Have chests full of them for drunken nights when I feel like gambling
