I Would Like To See Certificates :)

I was sitting at the oral surgeon this week looking at all his awards and certificates and it got me thinking. It would be nice to have a certificate to hang on the wall "Legendary Tailor Captain Lucky". Nice gold sink deco for vendor shops and stuff. Decorate the crafting room, etc. Of course this could work for fencers or whatever. I see it as if you had the title you could buy the certificate from the appropriate guild master and it would come with you name inscribed on it.

I think I remember reading that you could engrave the Guild signs you get from doing the Traders Quest. Of course this could just be me remembering someone asking the devs so that they could be engraved.

Ok, just checked an they can be engraved using the Wooden Container Engraving Kit. So now do the quests to get one for the Tailors Guild and engrave it (or buy one from a vendor on Atlantic and I'll ship it over for you for free when I go in the next few days).

I think itd be cool to reintroduce the old guild stones etc something along those lines. maybe with some different variations of the stone (craftable)

The guild signs are kinda ok. Especially since they don't say engraved on them. But anyone could do this if they had the skill or not. I do like the size of the signs for the certificates though. Plus the guild signs are more a "Hey I'm rich!" kinda thing compared to being a reward for an actual achievement.

its not like working a crafting skill is hard.. anyone can do it anyway and don't take that long.

I got mine doing the Traders quest. 3 so far and as I'm Governor of Trinsic, I do the quests regularly to keep the trade with the Guild of Assassins going every week for our SSI 5 buff. So you don't have to be rich to get them.

May be a downer, but that's the closet thing you can get today

Perhaps something along that line could be incorporated into new rewards for Tailoring and Smithing BoD's. I think the "Art Guy" should do one for tailoring that looks rather like a tapestry and for smithing he could make one that was more "metal" looking. Could be a new reward instead of getting the 120 PS ...... Anyway might be interesting and we need fresh new rewards anyway.

Smithing one should be a decorative Anvil.
