can anyone tell me how many different signs there are? so far i have 4, warriors, weapons, tinkers and tailors

well you can turn them with a house decor tool, so facing doesnt really matter, but still dam thats alot of signs, thanks

What is the best technique for getting those rewards. So far in the few trade quests I've run the best thing I've received were pinks (and usually in cooking or camping, lol)...la

It seems like the more you do at one time (meaning consecutively not multiple missions at once), the better the rewards get. I think you also get better rewards by fighting the mobs that spawn, I know it earns more money for the city that you are doing the mission for.

EDITING FOR CLARITY: Not multiple missions at one time but doing missions consecutively without logging out or doing other things. When I do trade missions, I generally spend two hours doing them. I get a mission and go to the destination, turn in and collect another mission, go to the destination, turn in and collect another mission, go to the destination, turn in etc etc etc

I think he meant in a row...like don't just do one then stop..keep doing them over and over and maybe the rewards are better...though that doesn't make much sense either it might work!

I think Larisa is correct, when I tried to get a second order i got a "you are already carrying a Trade order . . ." message

the devs said when the quest came out that killing the mobs has no baring on your reward at all.
just running it and not using moongates.

i know i tested 100 runs with killing and without and there was no difference in the drop rate.
also i think @Tina Small did it a couple hundred times each way as well and found no difference.

The books are tied to your character, so to speak, and each character will only get one set of books. I'm not sure if the signs are the same way, I haven't gotten any doubles of them, but I haven't run thousands of quests either. To get the books and signs, you gotta hoof it or sail. No moongates. Mind you, that only gives you the chance for them, but they're not too rare of a drop.

You can get multiples of the signs. I've done it on two different characters.

Thanks for the info. I'm way to lazy and really just can't be bothered to grind away. I would rather just buy a set!

while i dont like to grind anymore i do find this quest just right.
i get home from work and the kids are either not home or busy and the wife is off doing wife stuff and i find i have a hour to myself but i dont wanna do anything 'high impact' like pvp or such - i do this quest.
its a nice way to put my mind into neutral for a while.
plus i get the added bonus of running around. reminds me of the old days before warriors have chiv and we had to run everywhere.

I'm pretty sure I've gotten duplicates of books.

1 in a set of story books with a unique story from each of the loyalty cities. Each player is eligible for one set of books and will receive a new one each time a book is rewarded.

Should mean no duplicates per same char.
