What would make you move or not move?

I think I can be pretty creative when it comes to home design, but would you move just for the opportunity to be more creative? like having plots beside each other? I have kept one of my homes where it is for guild sake. I won't gain lockdowns, I won't be able to just run to the bank, or stable or other things. I will technically be more isolated. I won't mind the isolation. With vendor search now if I had vendors, even though they always die (sorry!), it would be a trek for someone wanting to not pay the 1000 to travel.

What would make you move or not move?

With 9 accounts and over 60 characters there isn't a single freaking thing that would make me even remotely consider moving.

If they had a transfer that would take ALL my characters and all my things and pack my house up for me... and they made shards specifically designed to promote both community and RP then I might consider even remaking everything.... but only if they threw in a whole new TRULY 3d client to go with it.

Truth of of the matter is for me... I role-play .... and I know my shard and it's specific history. I give a rats hind end about any other shard. I don't know their history, I don't know their background.. I have NO idea what they have had going on in the past and quite frankly.... I don't care to know. I don't want to start over.... that is the long and short of it. And I know most are like me. We have no desire to start over... If I did I wouldn't still be playing UO.

Having 2 next to one another is rather nice... but it's still 2 separate homes. If it meant downsizing the answer is always NO! If it's an upgrade... I rather like those... I've downgraded and not pleased about that.... I do like seclusion though.

Teleporters is the easy key to everything , but if you like to transform the view for other players, yes move! Im keeping an old 14*14 just beacuse its in guardzone, and well I also own the house next doors. Just north of bank in yew fel on Catskills. I can make em look like one building I guess its 2 maybe 3 tiles between them but well not many have'em anymore.

I did exactly this about 3 months ago. I didn't gain any storage but it is more aesthetically pleasing to me and I spend a lot of time in my houses so overall it was a good decision for me. Plus it gave me the opportunity to redesign my houses more to my liking.

i moved from my 18 by 18 to a much more pleasing location about 2 years ago. its a 16 by 18 so actually smaller, but am very glad i made the switch. What finally did it for me was my neighbor added another level to his house so it partially blocked the side of mine and a nice tree i liked.
So thats why i moved that time.

To move now, well, it would take gold. yes i would move for gold. 3 bil for either one of my houses fully decoed (excluding non-spawning rares and storage containers), the 18 by 18 is a luna teleport town sigil one. PM me anyone would like one, or both

all i can say is, have 2 or 3 side by sides is worth it if your into deco. can do amazing things, make those 3 separate plots look like one big continuous one with some illusion design. If there was no monthly fee or it was lower id definitely take on a joined 3 house illusion project.

I moved on my return cuz my house fell while i was gone haha. moved one char and some start cash and remade my chars .. down to the color of there hair. ha.

Then moved once after i landed on atl .. cuz I was able to place a secluded fel 18x18 in fel after an idoc.

I would consider moving once more when I get my secluded keep in fel.. not a fan of castle
