How many took time out from UO - or RL - to play Divine Divinity: Original Sin, the Game of the Year?

Want to but not sure my computer would run it well. I really liked the first divinity game, didn't like the sequels so much, but I was following this one.
Also when Pillars of Eternity comes out I will probably be gone for a long time.
I felt the same away about the first two games.
Also, I've often thought designers should release a free tiny segment of a new game that we could download to test if our system can handle it. Those "minimum system specs" just don't cut it

*laughs* Well truth be told I do wander here and there... I bide my time at work when things are slow playing Arcane Legends... since I can play it on my phone or tablet... something I can't do with UO. If I could I'd spend time at work sorting and cleaning my junk.
And when I'm frustrated with UO and wanting to immerse myself in "beauty"... I go build something in EQ Landmark. Because the land is just to freaking pretty. I live there in an old growth forest overlooking the ocean. I watch the sun rise over the sea and set over the mountainside. I swim through the ocean and walk through the forests and just marvel at their beauty. I wish I could take that engine and put it into UO. The joys of actually felling the trees as you harvest wood I can not describe. The amazement you have when you mine down into the ground and actually dig a huge hole from the ground to get your ore... very cool. To be able to build on a bit of land anything you desire... whether you build level with the ground, above the ground, high up into the sky or deep down under the ground... it is your land. You can add trees, subtract trees, build with snow, build with stone, build with dirt, shape the land to your needs add flowers and roads ..... adapt the land to your imagination... it's so amazing. But it's all just pretty pictures. Without a community of folk to role-play and build a community it just will always be nothing but a pretty picture.
