how do i take a stack of potions out of a box?
like 30 out of a stack of 5k

That's a setting you can toggle in User Settings, Options tab, Game Options heading, "Hold shift to unstack items." Uncheck that and you'll always get the quantity selection box when you try to drag a stack.
