I still have the Powers, and Xanzu still has the Title i gave him.So on the 1st we'll begin voting? In the meantime do the governors retain their powers.. Including special titles granted to deserving citizens such as myself?
you should be able to do that, yesSo if I cancel a character's citizenship tonight, a join a new one in 7 days, get the city loyalty, then I can run for office with that char? I want to run on Origin, but realized I am a citizen of New Mag, but want to switch to Britain (which is currently vacant).
For which city?Rico for governor...la

Thank you for reading these post and communicating with the players. It certainly tells me the DEVs are working for the better of the game, and listening to us. I appreciate it and it sure shines a bright light on the future of UO.Elections will always start on the 1st of each specified Calendar month, June and December. The timing that controls when everything kicks off is based on the actual day and month numeric values, while everything else is based on timestamps in seconds that we then have to do math on to extrapolate the # of days left for the gump that's wonky. Something seems to be mismatched, will look into it for the next election so we can avoid confusion.
Don't forget too that incumbent Governors will have "Governor, " prepended before their name for this election.
Because just printing "The next election cycle begins on (December/June) 1st" is too hard. Better start extrapolating days from seconds just in case the user doesn't know what dates are.Elections will always start on the 1st of each specified Calendar month, June and December.
