Prized Property and Boots of Escaping question

My question is If you got a "prized" bracelet,and its durability gets low,can you apply powder of fortification to it? Also can you apply powder of fortification to Boots of Escaping if its durability gets low.

You can't powder the new jewels that have durability. They were meant to eventually fade and die. But with 255 durability, that will take an eternity to happen.
No idea about the boots. I haven't tried, but my best guess is that they too can't be powdered.

Yes, the boots have 255 durability. No idea about the cloak, as I have only claimed boots so far.

I wish they would allow us to apply POF to jewels like the clean and prized ones. Keep brittle and antique as they are.

Sadly, no such thing as a brittle jewel.
I'd love to have them. Brittle seems to add more weight than prized, so we'd get some nicer jewels that way.

ok thanks for the information.Reason I asked cause i found a ring with 255 durability,with 8str,8dex,10int,15dci,and 15 hci,thats prized.Im thinking about building a suit around it.

These are pretty much like all imbued items, 255 durability and can't be powdered. Do you consider imbued armor and weapons of zero worth?

I would be ok with them having durability IF they weren't only available for a very limited time.

They seriously need to just have one property that denotes whether an item is PoFable or not and then apply that tag consistently across all items. This patchwork of BS that can or can't be powdered is confusing BS.

They should just add the items as champion spawn artifacts after the doom event has finished. I guess could add them as doom gauntlet rewards but there are already to many useless ones there.

Completely disagree. These will last a while. If you completely destroy these, get a second pair now or one next Halloween. They said this would be a recurring event each year with new items added.

I don't know. I have 3 pairs now. Working on my fourth.

So far I've managed to get at least 1 of everything and now I'm going on getting several pairs of boots... If you put as much effort into getting them as you do complaining about them you'd have plenty of them.

I have 60+ characters on GL's alone... I figure I'd never get enough for most of the characters I'd like to have them...... but there is always next year and as for this year I have a pretty good start at it. Sure I'd like this to be a permanent addition but beggars can't be choosers... so I'm doing what I can for now. By the time the event ends I hope to have at least 10 pairs of boots. Seemed a reasonable goal.

I don't suppose in a years time I will have worn out any of those pairs.

You're right. Taking 5 minutes to read a forum and respond once a day is plenty of time to get 50 drops. How silly of me for not taking that time to log in, kill stuff and log out. You either have nothing but free time or have an army getting them for you. Not everyone has an hour+ a day to play. The limited time I do have to play I have been in Doom. Boring as hell and I really hate the grind.

We all hate the grind. Just take the time to do it because I don't have the gold to buy the stuff I want... figure I have to work for it.

But then I'm somewhat fortunate in the fact that I work 3.33 days a week, my kids are grown and I'm not married. Guess then that I have time to grind out what I want. However it seems mostly like I may as well be playing Diablo or something as more often than not I'm alone. Since I work nights and everyone is asleep or soon to be there when I get on... then when I'm sleeping they are working.... and when I'm working .... then everyone is on. So guess that's the way things are.

Sorry you don't have time. All I have is time. But then RL is more important than grinding in a game. Rather spend time with Friends and family.. but then like I said I'm working or sleeping when they are awake. So guess that's life.

Exactly. I'll pay millions if it's not imbued. Imbued = worthless to me. Pass on it all the time. I realize many are into that but it's not for me.
