Origin is a improper name - im not allowed to name my rune that, so how come they name the sever???

I do shard transfers, and i named my house on origin, and tried to write its on origin server - but that is a improper name...

How come they can use the name for the server if it is Improper???

It's improper BECAUSE it's the name of the server...well technically the Origin Store...you could never name runes with things like that as far as I remember.

Origin was also the name of the company that ran UO so it would stand to reason that they wouldn't want people using it in game.

Yeah wow, I'd sure hate for someone to mark fake runes to the Origin Store.

Do the filters still block any word with the letters E and A next to each other or did they fix that?

My favorite filter stupidity though, is an old one: You can't put words like "blacksmith" in guild titles, because they're paperdoll titles. WHO CARES?

No they block the letters E and M being next to one another so if you wanted to name you characters Emily your SOL unless like me you did it LONG before the EM program began the FIRST time.

And they are right Origin was the name of the company that first held title to Ultima. Years ago. You could purposely misspell it and you might try using zero's in place of the O's. so orig1n might work.... with a zero and a one... people have "circumvented" the naming restrictions for years using techniques like that.

my guild title on my warrior Weedis Goodis .. on baja is King Kola ... i made him again on ATL .. when i moved over there... and it won't accept the title. lol. had to go with sticky icky ... heh

Put spaces between it so it comes out as O R I G I N

if you use the "alt key" characters, they don't show, your title would just be "rigin"

i bounced over to Origin on day on the guy i use to do my shard shield transfers, went to mark a rune at the Guild Castle and named it 'Origin Castle'
which of course it wouldn't let me do.
so i named it "Orgy Castle" and continued on with my day.
so if you should be on Origin and find a rune marked Orgy Castle.... well..... just be forewarned.
