Bumping threads

Good morning UO community,

Lately I have noticed quite a bit of bumping of threads going on. We need to start drifting away from this.

I understand that there are some threads which some of you might feel are important. If this is so, then add a contributing post to that message.

Bumping threads just for the sake of bumping them is interpreted as spam.

Please, let's make an effort to post something relevant within such threads if you wish to keep the topic alive.

Zuckuss, I wanted to add a post to the thread I started a while back regarding treasure chest loot once I got to the point that my Google spreadsheet has info for 100 chests on it (I'm at 83 now). Is that permissible to do? I would appreciate getting clarification of what constitutes "bumping" a thread before I run afoul of this rule and end up being banned from using Stratics.

I believe Zuck is referring to the threads where you keep seeing "bump" over and over as the last reply. If you are doing a follow up, or adding something constructive it's not an issue.
