Please remember to say how to check if a battle has ended. Currently if (having left a town after the warning gump) you run back in to see if it has ended...You can turn insta-Orange with no further warning gump.

Ok i havent been back to UO for that long but when i left afk macoring or scripting was bannable, and this guy its here and admits to doin it and even brags about it, im guessing they dont ban for this anymore? if this is the case im goin to demand they give me one of my banned accounts back.

It's still technically against the rules, but their so afraid of losing subscriptions that they pretty much never ban anyone for anything anymore.

No need for the 'how to avoid PvP videos'...I mine & lumberjack in Fel without problem and seem to stay alive on Siege without too much trouble.

As to why I might HAVE to be in THAT town...
If you want to do a trade deal with Slim then you have to be in Fel and if you have to leave town before you can finish the deal with him then you are stuck with a backpack full of items until you can get back into town and finish the business with him. Which is why knowing that the battle has ended is 'rather useful'!

This particular problem can be totally solved without making any changes which will have an impact on VvV participants.

The teleport button on the warning gump is another example of a solution which had no impact on VvV participants.

A few small tweaks like these and we can all be happy

If the guy admits publicly to scripting, then just delete that ill gotten item? Just keep deleting stuff and leave their account active if you are worried about subscriptions,

To the people defending scripting with the reason of tedious grind to obtain items,

Why don't we just allow duping then? That will totally solve the grinding for items defense that you guys keep using too right?!

Because when your NOT in VvV you can't tell WTF town the crap is in... if you don't get the messages rather hard to tell what town they are in ..... and if you enter the town it seems to be buggy and instantly put you INTO VvV whether you wanted to participate or not..... you don't even have to do anything.... Also found that it effects crap while in TRAMMEL. During out event last evening in TRAMMEL many of us has issues while rezing folk who died... we had a house set up to help the dead and some of us healers who helped rez folk who were in VvV got thrown out of the house just for rezing folk. Now I don't know what the heck was going on ...... but what a pain. You try to help folk and that's what you get.

Now I wouldn't say anything bad at all about VvV if it didn't unwittingly drag you in. If I could say or do something in game to see where this crap was and I could avoid it I would.... but truth is if you aren't IN it you can't tell what the hell is going on and therefore you CAN'T avoid it. I don't want to be sailing around trying to complete quests in Fel only to find myself pulled into VvV because I sailed too close to VvV battle... Seems stupid to me that you can't avoid it. I have several friends who've been doing the quest by hand NOT cheating doing it AFK but actually playing... and they constantly had to sit out in the ocean waiting to go to town unable to be able to tell if the "battle" in this or that town was still happening because they couldn't get the messages.... and if they tried to check to see if it was over went orange despite not wanting to be involved not healing or helping or doing anything but getting close to a stupid battle.

This kind of crap is what pisses me off.... no one wants that ****. If you want to participate hey I'm cool with that .... go for it. But for those of us who don't want anything to do with it..... I'm not coming to heal folk that are battling and I don't believe folk should be allowed to do such things in the middle of a fight... but for those of us who have been trying to avoid the whole thing it's been extremely difficult... to actually play the game as intended without getting pulled in to something we want no part of.

If someone can do the quests and avoid being flagged by VvV players all while he's afk then I find it pretty hard to believe that any cognizant player will end being confused and plagued by the system. Sounds like your friends are being far too overly cautious and only handicapping themselves by being so utterly terrified of flagging/dying. The fact that you're not even doing the quests, and just avoiding them on principle, reinforces my assumptions and speaks to your own stubbornness and ignorance. Get over it and stop with the paragraphs of whining.

You don't have any idea what we are even talking about so STFU and quit trying to smack talk me on the forums without actually reading or understanding what we are talking about.... Hey you support VvV I get it.... don't care I don't.

What we are talking about is not being able to AVOID VvV without even participating in it.

The TRUTH is that you can't avoid it even if you want to which is WRONG and that it DOES have effects that reach into TRAMMEL where it shouldn't....

You are just trolling me which I'm not going to tolerate. And my friends were being cautious after all they were in FEL... they had to be because they couldn't seem to go about their business there without being overly cautious and getting flagged in a system they were avoiding.

Why can no one seem to figure out that the VvV system is filled with bugs.... bugs that need to be FIXED.
